  • hi elly - hope everything ok with the family stuff. think the rest have run away? i'll be up for the 110-11,000 next year but am determined not to spend any of it. as from now i'm not spending anymore of the "extras" i make and squirrel it away - funny when you make a wee bit extra the kids always home in on it and really really really need something (aye right), friends cooming round tonight so no doubt a hangover tomorrow! see you later take care all##

I'm up for it next year too. this year been a bit of a washout for me, I am on just over £1400 but I treated myself to a bugaboo pram for new baby. eeekkkkk. My brother in law was shocked that technically it cost more than his car!

    Hi All,
Its miserable grey and rainy here. Got the family coming for dinner, haven't seen my grandaughter since last Saturday so looking forward to it.
I am certainly up for the challenge next year. I will only make 4k or maybe 5k this year which is really good BUT I don't really know where the money has gone so like you skint I am going to squirrel the money away next year, maybe open another bank account.
A bonus for me this week was getting £80 from quidco for changing gas and elec, Also got a £50 cheque from New Vista ( took me from may 2009 - sept 2010 to rech the target but hey-ho £50 is not to be sneezed at)
Pinecone are looking for new people so if anyone want the link PMK me with your email addy.
Hugs to everyone. Off to the 'Ville now to see if I have missed anything.
    Rosie xx

Jo will find out wed exactly whats going on ,its not me personally but a family member details are a bit vague but if it turns out to be worst case scenario i will be devoting any spare time to that.In a way its one of those things that any stress i had re my appraisal tomorrow and life in general has now dissappeared as its not really that relevant anymore .
However that aside i will try and make the best of a crap year ,think i'm going to try selling on ebay as it doesnt take that much time .Does cagne still have his blog about it ?
Oh suggested same about using seperate bank account for challenge money so i'm going to try and do the same. hope you all have a nice day elly
So finally debt free and it feels amazing however continuing here to stay debt free.Next declutter house and body and finally swim under that waterfall x
  • Afternoon ladies, miserable here too Rosie but a nice family dinner sounds wonderful. Elly i found that when doing ebay it was a lot less stressful to wrap them as i listed, i just put a code on them somewhere so i knew what it was. Jo am sure she looks a wee doll in her pirate skirt and Lilac, am at the British Legion on the 16th with a stall- there is a fundraiser Craft Fair for the Amateur Dramatics tables are £15.00.
Not done much today - bit of a hangover but have been to MrT's and got 9 packets of the coffee for a penny and a tote umbrella for a penny that is mentioned on the Grabbit boards, did pop up to another mrT's but the bint on the cashdesk wouldn't let me have it for a penny - just a shame she didnt notice the two in my friends basket as she went through the self serve (nah nah nah nah to her!)

    catch up later

weather disgusting here too. pirates getting a bit restless.lol.
sounds like you got a lot of bargains skint.
Like the idea of squirreling our money away. Think mine will go on debt repayments but its till kind of squirreling it away as it brings us nearer to the black.

    Hey Nixi,
hope you are ok. Seems like Nixi Speaks is going really well. I'm enjoying new job but been feeling really exhausted. Think I am coming out the other side of it now.
Hope your grrr day gets better soon.
