Hugs Mambury. You certainly have a lot on your plate now. Do you know what worked for your depression at other times. Big big hugs from me too.

  • Hello, Hello All hope that you are all okay this Tuesday although I am issuing with immediate effect a hug prescription for anyone who is feeling carp.

Elly – Smirkentree always makes me smile xxx Thanks so much for the new instalment.

Mambury – just massive hugs. Sorry to hear about your sister, but I am glad to hear that she is okay. It all seems to be going on at once (why is life always like that eh?). I can’t tell you not to worry as that is pointless, but I am sure that things will eventually settle and just fingers crossed that you feel a bit better today.

And, on the loneliness I know that I am too far away to sit with a cup of tea and have a chat, and give you a hug – but I am on twitter all day every day. So, if you need me I am here to talk anytime you want x

Jo – ***waves*** hope works is going well missing your pearls of knowledge oh great Joprah x

Nixi –*** waves*** we are like ships passing in the night of late – hope that you are well x

As for me time to get this work road on the show, couldn’t sleep had loads of ideas bouncing around my brain last night. Finally crawled into bed around 1am – it was sex and the city’s fault.
Off to get some work done hugs to all as always xxx

Hi everyone, been sneaking along thanking people yesterday but have been a bit blank and tired so haven't posted yet. First off - Mambury, massive hugs, as always wish I was nearer and really agree with Elly on the depression thing -I've got a friend who just doesn't get it that it's a physical symptom in my case that has to be treated and it's not something I can 'shake off', really irritates me. If it's medication that's needed there should be no shame about it, I hope you feel like you can ask for any help you need and don't just feel like you 'should' be able to cope better- it's rotten when you feel like pushing everyone off, especially when you've got kids as they just become more demanding and the problem gets worse. Remember you are valued and appreciated, even if it doesn't feel like it right now. Big hugs and hope the situation improves soon xx xx

Jo, thanks for the September thing, I wanted to do it today but my brain's not in the right gear so will think on that. Well done on the book sale! Glad the job's going well :) really happy for you! xx

Elly that smirkintree episode was fab, remember a lot of famous writers were on all sorts when they wrote lol, it could be worse than booze! If you get bored of ginger I've got some dark brown hair dye you can have, got it free with that promotion then got my hair highlighted and stuff so won't use it now? Can send wih Sulkies which will be with you soon xx

Dilli and Nixi, from the looks of it you're both doing well? Hugs to you and Em and Elle and Nikki and Skint and Munchki and everyone else, I need to get FB sharing etc but not tonight *yawnnn*
...as for me it's gogogo, boy back to school, DD1 stsarting nursery mornings, I seem to be doing a lot of walking so let's hope it shifts some of this weight eh :) MIL is getting me the Zumba dvd (dance workout lol) for an early birthday present. Will get some of our holiday pics up on FB soon, was lovely but got eaten alive by midges! Back soon, good night :) xx xx
I have come here to chew bubblegum and kick @ss.... and I'm all out of bubblegum.

  • Morning all,
Paula – Cosign on the attitude that some have to depression, if people could shake it of course they would. It is quite challenging to overcome as you the dual task of trying to get people to accept that you are sick, whilst you are sick. Midges eek – I know that insects are a part of our ecosystem but I really, really, hate them.... euuugh... to think I used to have pet snails and the like.

Baby – waves! Good to see you I hope that you had a good holiday hun x

I feel really energised – but I think that might be to do with the fact that if you cut my veins open you would get green tea instead of blood. Loving the reduced processed stuff diet, I still have my little naughty bits – I had a cornetto at stupid o’clock this morning.

I have the same old to do just some blogging this morning and avo and some design work I need to be heads down over – although I am really turning into a massive twitter addict. Naughty me! Wishing you all an amazing day x

hello everyone. have managed to do the urgent complicated bit of work for new job which has taken up my evenings so far this week and hopefully will be dribbling a bit more from now on. very tired tonight as only about 4 hrs sleep last night as DD woke me up and then I couldn't get back to sleep. So just going to send big hugs to those who need them.
    missing dribbling
