I'm so jealous of your trip to Disney - I would love to go there and DS keeps asking when we can go. I've told him we will have to wait until Natasha is a bit older, so we've sort of agreed on 3 years time.....better get saving!

Really glad your trip to the midwife went well too - sorry, got a bit behind and have only just caught up with all your news today. :)

My parents used to do this when we were on holiday in Italy, I used to have a largish back-pack style handbag (still do actually :rotfl:, but then it was only for hols, now I use it all the time as I have to carry Epi-pens), we used to be able to make about 8 sarnies (in bread rolls with ham, cheese, even boiled egg!), grab some fruit and if we were really lucky small bottles of water or fruit juice!

Hey, great idea about the fruit and drinks as well! Definately going to try it now, I have a large Kipling bag bought especially for the holiday (pre light bulb moment) with several large compartments for starters, mains and deserts!

Just checked the 5 day forecast for Paris on BBC teletext. Yesterday it said half rain, half sun. Today it says 5 days straight raining, argh!

Bit brighter news, OH's brother has borrowed a car from elsewhere. Think OH would rather have done the driving - now I will rope him into helping give the house a good clean before we go away.

I am really pleased for you that BIL has managed to source a car from elsewhere. I hope OH enjoys helping out with the cleaning today!!

Have a fab time - I am sure you will do, whatever the weather.

    Hi again choco
Just been catching up on the recent posts - aargh to the family pressure! I feel very fortunate in that respect, everyone in our family would bleed to death rather than ask for help - but great news that the BIL has now seen reason and got a car from elsewhere.

I'm also just looking at your sig........... £21 grand in a year? Did you rob a bank? What did you dooooo!!!! Tell me! Matched betting? No, its robbing a bank, isn't it? Can I be your getaway driver the next time you do it?

Seriously, have a great time at Eurodisney, hope it doesn't do what the forecast said.

Nope, didn't rob a bank and scared of matched betting though always very tempted when I hear it mentioned.
What it really was, was being extremely mean, trying not to buy much, and especially nothing at full price(!), ebaying half of my possessions (and a few of kids' and OH's if I thought they wouldn't notice) and erm, that's about it really!
What's really sickenning though, is the thought that if we hadn't been in debt we could have saved that £20 thou (not that we would have done, I bet, but the thought is there!)
