Hello experts!
I've just discovered that Farmfoods do 8pts of whole milk for £1.50 - where have I been? I have 2 babies so spend £12 a week in Tesco where I can get it for £4.50 in Farmfoods.
This has given me the kick to sort out my grocery shopping.
I have a plan!
I have Aldi, Tesco and Farmfoods local to me. What would you buy from these stores? I've heard Aldi fruit and veg is good both value and quality?

Farmfoods - Bread, eggs, milk, crisps, loo roll only for me. Their food is not good and a bit overpriced although others will no doubt disagree with me!
Aldi - Fruit and veg, cereal is very good especially the 'crunch' ones, juices and squash, jams, chutney, jar sauces, tinned tomatoes and puree, cooked meats, cheese and yogurts, frozen veg, fish and ice-creams, cleaning products, baby wipes, loo rolls and face cream, bacon and sausages, wine. All these products are cheaper and as good or better quality than Tescos. NOT nappies (they used to be good but have gone rubbish) or uncooked meat such as steak, mince and chicken and their shampoo is also rubbish and their crisps are too salty.
Tesco for what's left to get, although a butcher is a better choice for meat if you have one. HTH0 -
Farmfoods - curry sauce - cant remember name its, only £1 and in a rectangle plastic tub inside a cardboard box iyswim - will have a look tomorrow - kids love it! can then use the plastic tub in the freezer. Milk, (but just now Tesco doing 6 pints for 75p)crumbles,
Tesco - recommend Daisy Loo roll £1.99 for 9 rolls (quilted and doesnt disintegrate when being used lol!),skintbint x

we use farm foods, chicken pieces ( boneless and is 100 % breast) has a crispy coating on it, but kids love it cooked then in wraps as a change from sandwiches.relynutz says it all0

For any veggie's out there, Farmfoods always has excellent offers on Quorn, Dalepak & Grassingtons products. Usually at £1 a box, though I recently picked up some Dalepak Spicy Beanburgers for 50p! Usually decent prices on Pizza too.
I have been buying my milk there ever since the £1.50 for two offer started. Do you realise you can freeze milk? I always buy 4 bottles at a time and freeze two - but use a bit out of the bottle first as it expands on freezing!"If you dream alone it will remain just a dream.
