Well, as I have become a 'festival widow' (like a footy widow, which I will soon also be, but for a music fest instead) I am going to go shopping tomorrow. It's the first time I've been in ages and I do actually need to try and get a few things so I don't feel too bad about it at all, as I should if I was just going and buying carp I didn't need for the sake of it. Must remember to take the vouchers I've got too. Also while I'm there I plan to visit the "Cheap Toiletry Shop" for a couple of bits and bobs and the pound shop to stock up on acres of cheap branded chocolate. Shall let you know how it went tomorrow evening :D.

Today I got rained on walking home. When I got in and took off my wet shoes, I discovered they had dyed my feet black! So now I have black heels and toes and am going to have to dry out the shoes as best I can so I can wear them tomorrow, so the lines match up and no one will see my black feet!

I've started keeping a spending diary, I decided I'd like to see exactly what I have going out each month and where it goes, compared to what I have coming in. It won't tell me much until next payday and I can kick off properly, but have started now anyway. I thought it would help me get into the habit and that if I thought "Oh I will do that in a couple of weeks..." I'd never remember to get round to it. Let's see what I learn...

Watching Cold Case now and listening to the rain, I quite like the rain when I can stay all cosy indoors and don't have to go out in it! Have a good weekend everyone.

    Edit: Aargh what happened there?!!

Well, I've only gone and fallen down the stairs this morning. :(

Next time take more water with it ;):p
You sound as clumsy as me - although it's been a couple of years since I last fell down the stairs. Hope this hasn't done too much damage to your poor coccyx. As for your toe - I am forever bashing my little toes. Nearly broke one a few years ago - boy that was eye watering  Hope you can have a good few weeks without any accidents or I'll have to come up and wrap you in bubble wrap at this rate ;)

jellybaby - poor you - sounds like you've had an awful day. I hope all the agony is worth it and they find out what the problem is. Take it easy xxx

Elona - hope you had a nice day :D

Well my day was horrendous  DS and mindee weren't keen on the butterflies swooping round them. One landed on my bottom (clearly I have too much of a shelf back there) - but then H always says it's a peach ;) :rotfl: Anyway DS has been the child from hell all day. Didn't get any better this evening, massive screaming fit, whinging and just generally being a PITA :( Would have a drink but I don't have any booze in the house :(

Anyway off to watch some pants TV.

    Evening all

Hope that you've had a good birthday to-day Elona

JackieG....ouch! Will you take care of yourself please!

    Jellybaby....sounds grim, take care.

Csarina...hope that OH's dizzies wear off soon....

Its been cool here to-day but no rain, 3 more courgettes need picking to-morrow meant to do it this afternoon but forgot. Tomatoes taking their sweet time to ripen, peppers looking well, if I can stop OH from picking them, I want them red not green.... Having lots of apples at present, as cattle which were in garden the other morning knocked a couple of dozen eating apples down....have been eating them raw and had some in an apple sponge for pudding, they are not quite ripe, its a pity they didn't get to ripen as they are a lovely apple to eat.

Still looking for DS2's degree parchment, am pretty sure it is in his own house but he insists that its not, thought that it was behind his graduation photograph but no luck...he won't be home until next week so will keep rooting around anywhere it might be, he emptied his room here several years ago so am convinced that he has it somewhere.....children! at 36 he should be better.

Have to get voucher to-morrow for DS3's birthday on Sunday, its what he asked for so happy with that. Want to look in the charity shop that keeps furniture also, hopefully OH won't come with me although have a feeling he will.

    Sleep well all

Hello folks bit of a rush today hope you are all ok but hugs to those that need them. Had not too a bad day. Was very busy at work so the day passed very quickly. The Tesco man came tonight so all the shopping is away, washing machine on the timer and I am putting my feet up. It was our silver wedding three weeks ago so I thought I would open a bottle of champagne we got and have a wee treat but oh my it is awful think I would rather drink vinegar!!!
Bought smoked ham ribs yesterday so there is a big pot of HM lentil soup simmering away for tomorrows lunch - we all prefer next day soup in this house the flavours are much better. Will pop a breadmix in the BM in the morning.

I have some things on ebay so better go and check how they are doing - we were given a Bed and Breakfast break at the Old Course in St Andrews for our silver anniversary, which is lovely but really quite expensive so will use the money from ebay for our dinner when we arrive.
Night to you all - sleep well

I've been a busy bumbler today - picked up DH and put him to bed went out to do some MSing which included a M&S (free wine :j) which also provided free lunch for kiddywinkles and a gratefdully received coffee, also did a Pizza MS which provided me and said KW our dinner. Woke up DH who had a LO chicken sarnie and made his packup for his last night shift, threw money at the twins for their dinner, dropped DH back to get picked up for work and did my reports/watched big brother/drank free wine :D

DH was intending to finish work at 8am and stay on to watch the superbike racing tomorrow...his boss has said she has found him a lovely spot to watch the racing but could he work while watching so he'll be on from 8pm tonight until about 6pm tomorrow, I am looking forward to a lazy sunday morning :D

My baby sister (of black eye fame on my facebook for those that are on it) is due to go to hospital for abnormal cell treatment on Monday and I am concerned. I have a bad feeling. I hope its just worry.

I shall blather on some more tomorrow...sleep well x
