I set up a new paypal account last night as i sold something and the person who i sold it too paid by paypal so they paid it and that was all ok but then i moved the sum from my payment account to my wifes bank account and paid the £5 fee to get it into her bank account faster.
But the problem i have is my paypal account is in my name and the Bank account is in my wifes name so wanted to know will that matter with the sum going into the bank account?
i know i could have used my bank account but all the bills and stuff goes out of her account so it was just better that way.
Also the other thing i would like to know is that as i say we paid the £5 faster payment fee how long does it take to hit the bank account?

Yes it might be a problem if the different name is detected, anti fraud measures mean that the account holder must be verified and that means the same details on the paypal account as on the bank account. However, names are rarely used for bank transfers so it may be OK until you start using the account more and then need to verify it. Although assuming you have full access to your wifes bank account even that is not a problem as you can acess it to get the deposit details that paypal require for verification.
There are a lot of mixed experiences of faster payments, some people don't get it any faster that a normal paypal payment, so anything between 2-5 full working days.
Just remember to ship the item quickly though rather than wait for the money to hit your account.I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the eBay, Auctions, Car Boot & Jumble Sales, Boost Your Income, Praise, Vents & Warnings, Overseas Holidays & Travel Planning , UK Holidays, Days Out & Entertainments boards. personally I've found that the faster payment option is just a waste of £5Instant Credit means Instant Debit!
