No, I do not intend to have a hen do. Reason being I don't have a 'group' of friends :-( - When I was younger I had a group of close friends but those relationships ended badly now I just have one close and my fiance. A hen party of three is a bit pathetic. I might have liked the fun wild thing but I am just greatful I have one friend who is true.0

Im having a hen weekend, but not drinking (well nothing more than a few glasses of wine with a meal anyway) Cant think of anything worse than a boozy night on the town.
We're going up the lakes, staying in a hostel friday and saturday nights, full days canoeing on the saturday with a champagne lunch and then a spa day on the sunday.
It works out at about £150pp including everything apart from drinks. Ive given everyone plenty of notice so they can save up for it, but i wont be offended if some cant make it and ive said people can just come to the spa day if its too expensive to come for a whole weekend.:jProud mummy to a beautiful baby girl born 22/12/11 :j0 -
I have run pubs and bars for the last few years, before that I was just drunk so me being on the p!ss is a bit done in. I have lost touch with a lot of people I'd consider friends due to moving about so much so it was just going to be a few of us having a beauuty/shopping weekend (but mid week cos it's cheaper) but with there only being a few of us and my mum uninviting MOH it might be a bit weird, especially as MOH wants the lairy, stripper, fall down drunk kind of wkend0

I am hoping to have a meal with some friends but my 'hen do' is a girly night with the Brownies! All I have been told is the date and to wear a dress! I think it will be fantastic! OH's stag do is a Scout camp the weekend before the wedding - the scouts are disappointed that they are not doing a halloween camp - OH said well I'm getting married that weekend the scouts said you could invite us as a days activity then we can camp in the grounds!!!!! No chance!!!! They settled on a 'stag do' the weekend before! It will be ace!0

I dont want a mad hen do either. It will be in Spain because the guests will be there for the wedding anyway and I dont see the point in having another one (which my sister is determined I will have) just to make people who arent going to the wedding spend money anyway!
I just want to go get a massage or something, manicure, pedicure with my daughter my mum and sis and then meet up with everyone else for dinner and drinks. Thats all :j0 -
My sister and H2B are both bullying me into a hen night! I said at a push I'd do an afternoon cocktail lesson thingy and dinner but that'll be it!
I'm not into the lairy stuff either, its just not me0 -
I don't want a stereotypical hen night (i.e. wild outrageous parties and strippers) mainly because I know that my OH would be a little upset if that was the case.
In saying that... I would like a nice meal out with a couple of bottles of wine. Nothing fancy, nothing expensive. I don't mind being dressed up etc as long as it's not ridiculous.
Wow I sound fussy now!

I'm not looking forward to mine either. I'd be happy with an activity day (like Go Ape or clay pigeon shooting) or a spa day, or evn just a nice, slap up meal with lots of drinks and then home to bed.
But no! My girlfriends will be planning a weekend away somewhere, staying in the cheapest possible pit of a hotel or B&B, with themed outfits, me dressed up like a complete and utter twonk, drinking games, dares and as much embarrassment as you can possibly heap on one person in a night as is humanly possible.
I'm hoping my MOH will try to take over organising it and then it will be a much more gentle affair, but I'll probably then end up having 2 because the others wont be happy till they've nearly caused a riot in some place or other. If you have nothing constructive to say just move along.0 -
Hi Guys My hen night was last month (Getting married next Saturday) and I was so worried about dares and looking silly, but I had the whole lot! Willy straws, L plates, Veil, Garter, I even had fluffy wings!!! But on the actual day I just relaxed and enjoyed it for what it was, My friends had set up a MR & MRS Game which was fun, on the evening I didnt do any dares I didnt want to and we all had such a laugh I really enjoyed being a Hen! Please don't spend time worrying about it like I did just enjoy it and do what you want to do Sally xxx0

I'm with you on that one. I had a friend and through her over the years were friends with a lot of people she/we knew (I'm going back to when we were young teens).
I fell out with her last December when she upset me over something she said about my Dad, so since then I haven't seen anyone.
I can count on one hand now how many friends I have, so my 'hen night' won't be anything big and girly.
I'd prefer to stay in the company of those few friends I have now and my family, because at least I know they aren't backstabbing nasty barstewardsTank fly boss walk jam nitty gritty...0
