You posted at 10:22 that it had arrived, and earlier you posted that your timeslot was 9-11am.

I assumed that it was 10:22 the same day, sorry.

It was 11.22 when she posted to say it had arrived :)

It is a shame we don't get the delivery cost refunded when they are early - the last two times I have had the driver phone up and ask if he can come early as I was the last one on his list, which wasn't a problem to me as I was at home anyway, but money back would have been nice :)

I used to always get the same customer every week who lived as far away from the store as we deliver and would not let you in till 18:00 on the button so i used to always be in a rush to get back for my finishing time. The annoying thing was she would look out the window at you and then go outside and attend to her plants.

Why are people so blooming .........(struggling for the right word)....crappy?

Yes, I pay for the service, yes, I want it delivered within the 'window', and yes, I would be miffed if they tried to deliver outside of the agreed hours when I was not in but for goodness sake, if I am in and the delivery is early, is it really the end of the world as we know it???
It would never occur to me to check online if my order has been delivered, unless it was late, and as for having delivery charges refunded if the order is early????!!!!
Logistically, it must be hard to account for all the vagaries of customers and I think they do remarkably well to deliver within the window.
I feel sorry for the poor drivers who have to knock on the doors of pedantic people who seem to take joy in picking up on the smallest fault.... what a worthless job to be sometimes.
  • LOL! And the future is.... more Tesco's.

    I really don't think so . . .

    And I definately hope not
