well, its just turned up, with no apology or anything.. its not the fact that its a bit late that bothers me, thats to be expected, its the fact they are showing it as being delivered when it hasnt been, no doubt to try and make themselves look good.0

"Look good" to whom, exactly? Isn't it just you who can see the status of your order?
I think you need to find something to occupy yourself if something so trivial can get you so wound up.******** Never be a spectator of unfairness or stupidity *******"Always be calm and polite, and have the materials to make a bomb"0 -

Thank Goodness, I'll put kettle on.
(As a note, the computer is the one that tracks the delivery drivers score, hence he knows he gets top marks regardless, cos that what computer says!!)0 -

the same happens in the pub industry, where every sale of chemically manipulated lager is registered against Brenda the Barmaid, the time and how it was paid for. All goes into the grate database of knowledge. So a little fiddle of data, a tweak here, debases the system.0 -
Last couple of times I've ordered online Tesco turned up early! Which was quite annoying as we specifically ordered it for after the baby goes to bed.0

Just a bit of a quick vent...Am currently waiting on a 9am-11am Tesco delivery, and its showing as delivered, when it isnt...I'm noticing this more and more often with companies recently...
arrrrgh!!
Sorry, just really bugs me!
Vent over!
They probably mark it as delivered on despatch, rather then receipt.0 -
Like everything, it probably varies from area to area. For me? Always used Tesco online/delivery. Always been delivered on time, always been correct order, always delivered by friendly, cheerful drivers and always correctly charged.
Problem is, we only hear when things go wrong, not when they go right, which is probably the vast majority of the time.
I have no idea if my order has said it has been delivered before it was....what on earth made you look?
Finally, I even got my order inside the time period when the snow was really bad and it was difficult to get into the village - brilliant service:D0 -
Aren't they supposed to refund the delivery charge if it's not delivered within the time slot?Striving to clear the mortgage before it finishes in Dec 2028 - amount currently owed - £26,322.670
