Now I just write fluff and nobody cares what it says so long as it made somebody end up on the page
Do you write stuff to direct people to your own site, or to other peoples sites?“The ideas of debtor and creditor as to what constitutes a good time never coincide.”

But never mind that. We have found a baby goat who can read, type and use a computer. Somebody call a tabloid newspaper - hurry!
The BBC already got me.

I had a lucky escape once with regards to grammar and pronunciation. Several years ago I had an assistant who spoke English as her third language and had only begun learning it several years before. She could communicate more than adequately but did make occasional mistakes. So she asked me to correct her whenever she did so she could keep improving. While I initially found it slightly awkward after a while I just got in the habit of automatically correcting her if she said something the wrong way.
Not the best habit to be in when your crazy neighbour who has a woeful grasp of the one and only language he speaks, estuary English, starts screaming at you.

The amount of times my finger omits to type the o:eek:

Please don't take this the wrong way, but sometimes I think people can get a bit too hung up on the exact correct use of English stuff like words an' all that. Now if he had said less dudes then I wouldn't take him seriously but LESS and FEWER is not something I get right meself.
Ah right, and if you can't grasp the simple concept, then the rest of us stand no chance?
Bravo to NDG for trying to educate a few of the "whatever" brigade.
Of course the usual suspects all reject any opportunity for enlightenment.0
