Tissue in washing

I realise it's a big IF, but if the coat is fit to go into the tumble dryer on a cool setting, you may be able to rescue it that way.
I've often managed to save fiddling about with brushes and sellotape by putting Kleenexed sweaters and slacks in the tumble dryer. Hope that helps - we all do it but I curse my own folly.. :-)0 -
As this has fallen from the front page of OS, I'll add it to the existing thread to keep ideas together

Hi anyone have any ideas about how I can get rid of the decomposing tissure that was forgotten in my favourite cardi in the pocket I discovered it when it came out of the washing machine I have dried it of and managed to get rid of the clump of most of it but there is still some that I can't seem to shift I thought I'm sure someone will come up with a good plan,I can't be the only plank to have done this:D;)0

Apparently if you tumble dry it all the tissue will come off -don't know ghow true it is but Dd swears by it when she leaves things in washer.Clearing the junk to travel light

Have you tried some selotape, wrapped around your hand (with the sticky side on the outside), and then dabbing over the affected areas of the cardy?
ETA: Or one of those clothes roller, sticky thingys (what are they called??). And you aren't the only one without a tumble dryer. We don't have one either. No space for it! lolFebruary wins: Theatre tickets0 -

Hi,
I put a black jacket in the washing machine this morning, took it out the machine and guess what? someone who is taking no blame left a tissue in the pocket! I put it back in the washing machine which cleared most of it but its still a bit white in the inside.
Is there anything i can do to get rid of this?
Many Thanks

In my house the person who won't take the blame for tissues in pockets is me.
The only solution is elbow-grease: I usually get to work with a clothes-brush and then a roll of sticky tape. Perhaps the careless party who didn't empty their pockets should do that job.0
