iphone 4 - Which Cover/Case?

Hi everyine,
Well I have finally got my hands on the new iphone on a 12month contract from Tesco. I must admit, it was a lot to fork out upfront for the phone, so my intention is to keep it in good nick and hopefully sell it in a years time to upgrade if there is a new version released.
So I was ondering what cover/case would people recommend? I want to stop it from getting bashed and scratched, but at the same time keep it as minimal as possible?
I think I have heard something about a clear plastic cover that kinda moulds itself around the phone. Does this exist, or have I just made it up? lol! If it does exist, is it a good idea?
The guy in Tesco suggested I would alsio get a free case from Apple, does anyone know anything about this?
Thanks for your help?
Dave

Hey Southern guy, thanks for that link.
I gather these cases just cover the outer edge of the phone. I'm not sure if that is enough protection. My phone tends to live in my pocket beside keys and coins and so on. Can anyone reccommend an all round cover?0 -
Hi Dave,
Are you thinking of the Invisible Shield? There are a few offers on at the min with them, either from Carphone warehouse (buy one get one 1/2 price) Zagg (who make them) were offering 50% off orders, but not sure if thats still the case..0 -
Why do places offer buy one get one half price
or buy one get one free
In most cases you only need one of the item
Why not sell me the one item i want at a cheaper price
Rant over
There are some nice ones on ebay bit like the bumper but also covers the back of the phone and then if you want you can put the screen protectors on to protect the front.0 -
I too hate having a case on the phone. But I bought a "nude" case from switcheasy.com. Also came with a screen protector film.
The case is perfect in that it protects most of the phone, and is extremely low profile. The screen protecting film is completely clear, and there is none of the "orange peel" type effect noted with some screen protectors. Highly recommended!0 -
Hey VK2003!
I love the look of that 'nude' case. Just what I was looking for! I've placed my order! Thanks!
Aren't MSE forums great!

I bought the one below from Ebay and must admit it's a lot better than I expected and for the price £2.75, a bargain.

I like the scratchwrap idea (clicky). Once you've put the scratchwrap on, you can still put the phone in another case if you want "bump" protection but the bits of grit and grime that collect behind the case won't scratch your phone. In the beginning, the universe was created. This made a lot of people very angry and was widely regarded as a bad move. The late, great, Douglas Adams.0
