Managed to pick the last one up from Chingford, the SD card/maps were missing, and Tomtom quoted £103 for a replacement. However, after a bit of negotiation the manager reduced this to £75.00.:T

For those of you still looking the product code is 168190, there are some around still although they maybe ex-demo make sure you call the store and get it reserved before going tho'

Just tried that number, chap said all 500's sold out on telephone sales and in stores, only 510 available now, dammmmmmmmmmmnnn :rolleyes:

My hubby has managed to pick one up but said that their is only the maps of GB! Should the maps be all on one card or a few? Or has someone swapped the europe etc card and put in a GB do you think?

I think as standard these should come with the UK maps with major roads in Europe, on one SD card.

Cheltenham had two in stock when I phoned so I asked to reserve one. He phoned back an hour later and said that his mate had already bought it yesterday and the other one was faulty.

Somehow I have a feeling that he was telling me porky pies and it wasnt sold until 5 mins after I put the phone down but there was nothing I could do.

I have given up on the idea now, I was going for the Garmin I3 at £99.99 but I can find any of them anywhere now apart from Comet where they are £130 which I dont really want to pay.

I really hate Dixons / Currys!! I went to the Wood Green branch yesterday and the assistant was trying to put me off buying the demo one saying that it is probably faulty despite me speaking to the manager on the phone. It looked brand new not a return when they took it out of the locked display cabinet. Then the manager discovered that the memory card was missing. He said he saw it in there previously. Makes me wonder why the assistant was trying to put me off....

They said there was one available in PC World in Tottenham. When I got there they said there was not one and did he mean Tottenham Court Road. He did not as I saw the computer screen when he checked. I also heard there was one in the branch near Bank in the City. The website said it was open till 7pm. When I got there at 6:45pm they were locking the shop. I questioned them and they said that the website is wrong... grrrrr *#$%! I then went to Tottenham Court Road and they said there was one in stock but that meant there was none. I questioned his logic but he was not having it.

So I'd love to know if there really are any in North West London, West London or Central London really in stock and complete.
