Thanks Kzlnd for the info. All those stores are saying they dont have any in stock ..whether this is a staff hoarding issue or the truth all them stores were quite far out for me . Is it possible to check for southeast london

I've found a few of these in stock but they are display models and they all don't have the SD card??? I don't think the price is worth it without the SD card. I'm not sure if this people nicking them or if the displays typically don't have an SD card.

From my experience currys/Dixons/PCWorld often show 1 in stock when there isn't 1 to be had. I'm guessing thatthere EPOS won't let it show zero. I always ask for a PHYSICAL check to see if the item's there.
As far as the missing memory card goes I think the whole route planning software is on this, it is on my mates PDA based TOM TOM sat nav, so without this the things next to useless, unless you get someone to copy it which is of course illegal and I wouldn't do it (not much).

I've had the TomTom Go500 for a year, and can recommend it. And a great price. Never overlook the airport electrical shops for extra (tax) discounts too. I bought a laptop after realising the saving paid for my holiday!
