tom tom go 500 half price

Was in currys on thursday and noticed the tomtom go 500 in half price sale for £150. this was in gosport. unfortunately i never bought it but have just noticed its going for £259 on ebay right now, gutted.

i also dont live locally to gosport so will have no chance to go back there in the near future.

dont know if this is local currys sale or nationwide either.
if anyone does please let me know.?

Why would it be a mis-price if it's half price in their sale?

I've just checked their web-site and they are now listing the Tom Tom 510 & 910 only, could be these are the newer versions of the 500 hence the clearance half price.

Was this a flyer that said the half-price? Would love to hear if anyone else found this, so I could make a trip to Currys here to check it out.

yep the 500 has been replaced by newer versions but there not much different in reality.

if you can get one for £150 go for it;)

for £140 DIFFERENCE which is the cheapest go 510 its totally not worth it if you can get one you have a bargain

I hate the fact you cant ring local stores - tried say no to 0870 and the numbers I need dont work! They rang Southampton for me and no stock then said none of their stores would have it anymore... I dont believed that and think I was fobbed off... then again it was a great price!

Saw this thread yesterday and meant to post.
My bf works for Currys, the 500 is clearance to make way for the 510. He said you would be lucky to find one, and that you probably weren't fobbed off as stores are just selling off what remaining stock they have. The store he works at sold out a little while ago.
