I pay £56.90 for Sky tv, phone and broadband. Called today to cancel and was offered same package for £42.50 per month for 10 months but on a 12 month contract.
My box is currently 18 months old so I said no as I'm worried about the engineer cost if any problems.
Will see if they offer anything better. If not I'll be moving to Virgin with their current £100 amazon voucher and £110 quidco cashback.
offered me a new box and discount of 35% told them the discount was far to small, said you can have 50-60% discount but not with a new box. Told them...well you can guess0 -
Just of the phone to Sky discussing my phone and fibre broadband as I'm now out of contract. I currently pay £42.40 for line rental, talk anytime, 1571 and fibre unlimited. They have offered me a new 12 month contact for £29.40 (a saving of £13) that I have worked out to be a 30.66% discount. Does this sound good or do you think that there is more to be had? I cancelled my TV package with them 2 weeks ago and am awaiting a good! offer from their outbound team.0

£7 Fibre for 12m sounds excellent.
That's the best you'll likely get on phone and broadband - you may still get a TV offer but that will only from them calling you.0 -
New confirmed sky prices:-
Original - No change
Variety - £30 up £2
Family - £36 up £3
sports - £25.50 up £1
movies - £17.00 up 0.50p
Multiroom - no change
Increases for existing subscribers haven't been outlined yet.0 -
With the new prices, makes an ideal time to phone up to haggle for a new discount if not already on a discounted deal.0

Just checked my account and over £90 for the sky dd this month !!!
So my deal period has ended. I am going to phone and cancel movies and sport as it won't let me do this online, do you think they will give me any incentive offers?
Not really bothered about sports and if no offer will use now tv for movies.
Thanks0 -

You get the decent offers by cancelling the entire tv package not just sports and movies. Ring up and cancel the tv package, they will offer you discount on the package. If you actually cancel and have the th cut off you will get even bigger offers, I was offered 50% off for 6 months yesterday when I called to cancel, people have reported 60% discount and various levels of bill credit, chap yesterday said he couldn't do that but to wait for detentions to call if I wanted to hold out, he even went as far as telling me my marketing preferences were on so I should get a call!0 -
Or retentions even! bless you autocorrect.0

Quite cheeky of them to say you can get the Family Pack, as others have said access to Now TV is what you can get, which in terms of channels is limited compared to the Family Pack0 -
Sky have offered me 60% off for 12 months and £100 credit by e-mail...........again.0
