If you wait until next summer and after a week or so of no rain (if such a thing happens) the moss will be dry enough to brush or scrape off without making too much of a mess.0

My neighbour has just had the roof of his semi detached house cleaned and coated. It cost £2000." The greatest wealth is to live content with little."

Soda crystals spread across the roof will kill moss within a few days (great when it rains just after, or longer if not). Do not use bleach as this will get into the surface water course (not very PC). Copper ridge only works on a clean roof. No joy if added to a roof full of moss. Any roof work is NOT a DIY job. Getting off a ladder onto a cat ladder is easy....... having the bottle to pass from cat ladder to floor ladder.........priceless. PS its not the fall that kill ya..... its the floor. PPS most 5 ltr; hand pumped garden sprayers will throw a jet from the gutter to the ridge. Killer will work, but watch out for the gutter crud in a week.0
