The sad thing is GL (well to me, anyway) that I think you may be right. And here I was thinking that all the moneysavers out there were busy trying to balance their household budgets on the basis of paying bills and making their mortgage payments. It hadn't even occurred to me that paying for !!!!!! could have become another of the key "household expenditure" items.

Pornography consumer rights guide? I've been debating if MSE (and in my NOTW column) should do this, we get many anonymous questions asked for help about credit card recurring payment etc where people are scammed & dont fight due to embarassment.

It's nothing to do with being a regular household expenditure, and as someone who has I assume experienced the financial issues it can cause (before even getting to the scams, recurring subscriptions etc) you should appreciate it being addressed I would have thought.
What if when you'd discovered your husbands problem you had no idea how to cancel any subscriptions, how to deal with being scammed through it etc, are you saying having advice and help from a reliable source on what to do would have been a bad thing???

Very true. I know someone who is "addicted" to Soap Operas, in that she organises her life around watching them and gets very upset and stressed if she misses a single episode.

I'm very much a D!
I'm a member of two pay sites which cover two different audiences, im not ashamed about as its very expensive to partake in the "scenes" i like and paying for member charges as a form of voyeuristic pleasure is fine by me.
Both sites are based in the US, but both are quite fun. I mostly read stories on one site and watch videos on the other.

I have no problem with your post. It's very honest and upfront. However, you forum name is taking things to extremes. Some things are surely best kept secret!

The whole sex industry in this country needs some serious and proper legislation. The extent of exploitation could be limited by regulating pornography producers and giving consumers the choice of viewing legitimate material. At the moment viewers do not know if what they are watching is a consenting adult or someone being forced to participate. It's not a 'nice' industry but there is a market and sex workers need protection as much as any other employee. It's high time we got off our moral high horse and faced reality.
