Good Morning All
Hello & welcome Suzybloo
Bargainbird, havn't been on last few days so I have missed a lot but it looks like you need some (((hugs)))
Had a fantastic weekend away. Lots of laughs, kids totally enjoyed themselves too. Now home with loads of washing and its tipping it down! Oh well, its not going anyway. Managed to stay within our holiday budget :jwhich was very pleasing.
Now back to reality. House is tidy but obivously need to try and sort out the washing. Have loads of office work so that will be the main aim of the day. Am out tonight for 2 friends birthdays so OH will be cooking spag bol for tea. Need to order an online shop as the fridge & cupboards are bare
Better get going, Hester will have have a wander over to your blog later to have a nosey.

So the saga continues, we have decided for the best to separate. DH fininshes college in June/July next year so until then he is going into the spare room then moving out when he gets his job. I'm not cooking or cleaning for him, he's going to his mums for that. So thats that
Not sure what to do today ??
Have good days xx
So sorry to read this BB have an extra big hug from me.......
Morning all......................((((((((((((((((((((((((((HUGS)))))))))))))))))))) if you need one.
Today is the calm after the storm, the sitting room is still almost empty, just the settee, OH's chair dining table and chairs and table and a couple of side tables, no books or chine and glass. The china and glass could do with a wash before it goes back up and I need to give the wall hanging unit a quick wax, its ages since it was last done.
I had a shower last night, my hips knees and back were killing me, had a couple of painkillers before I went to bed, seem ok this morning. Having an easy day, OH is taking me out and treating me to a special hot choccy at our favourite little coffee shop. Lots of email cards this morning.
I have the towels in, but it looks ominous, the sky is grey just now I hope the rain stays off long enough for me to get them dry. Do not want to start this early having to dry stuff inside.
Time to go and get dressed....bye for now.Was 13st 8 lbs,Now 12st 11 Lost 10 1/4lbs since I started on my diet.0 -
Hi Bargain Bird,
So sorry to hear. Hope you can cope with having him around the place in the meantime. It can be very difficult (from experience). Perhaps he should go and stay at his mums anyway ? It might be easier for you and kids as no strained atmosphere. Hugs xxI must not fear. Fear is the mind-killer.

Aaww BB, so sorry. Hope things work out ok, remember we're all here for you.
Morning All
Weather seems ok this morning though it did rain very hard in the night. Going to put a wash on in a minute. Meeting the girls from work for lunch today, this time next week we will all be back at school. Don't know where the last 6 weeks have gone!!
DS2 and DD still asleep so the house is lovely and quiet. Had bacon and scrambled egg for breakfast (still trying the Harcombe Diet and have lost half a stone!). Don't care what they have for tea as I am out for lunch so wont be hungry! They are big enough to sort themselves out.
Visiting the doctor later to see about having this Mirena coil fitted as the monthlies are now too much to cope with. It has taken me nearly 3 months to get this far!
Have a good day all. XX0 -

We shall be going come rain or shine which judging by the sky looks like it will definately be a bit of both.
Hi Guys,
Just to say that the blackberries are just beginning to come ripe here in Northants. Kid's dad planning to pick some on Thursday. They are a bit later this year but as a child I always remember picking them early September so must be the result of global warming:eek::eek:
Well I had a lull yesterday and lost my get up and go:( Im feeling a little brighter this morning but dont have quite so much energy. My two youngest sons are bickering and Im feeling very irritated:mad: Im tired because DD came in at 2.30am but it was one of her friends 18th birthday so im tolerant but tired because I never sleep properly until i hear the door go.
Still my house is fairly reasonable and washing on the go. Im nearly organised now with the boys school clothes although trying to get shoes that both me and DS2 (15) agree on is proving difficult:eek:
Im off to see Mooloo later for a cuppa and catch up.
Have a good day.
Extra hug to BB - it will get better my friend xxI must not fear. Fear is the mind-killer.

morning all its cold and grey here, but with rolling stones in the background seems like a bright day. so if your windows start cracking, don't worry its just me singing to "gimme shelter"
hester all your jewellery making sounds fanatic. Do you know how to fix a clasp back to a necklace. Its just a piece of costume jewellery but i love the design.
hi suzy!
sistercas hope it all goes well at the physio today.
:rotfl:redruby what ya like lol
bargainbird i'm so sorry hear that hun xx hope your okay xx
essex-girl sounds like you all a great time
Plans for today, well the kids are helping me clean the house. Coddy (DS1) has still to finish his room but snips (DS2) has been fantastic.
We did loads yesterday but still more to do. Think we might go out later but it depends on the weather.
Have a good day all.0 -
Aw BB, so sorry to hear your news
Big ((((HUGS)))) to you x
Tipping it down here this morning, but still, the gardens do need it. I've got blackberries in our garden, only a few stems though so I just go out there each day and eat the latest lot of ripe ones, as there aren't many at one time
We have a greengage tree too, but most of the fruit are very high up this year - the birds will enjoy them though, if they ever ripen that is. We have some raspberry canes as well; they're over now, but were very poor this year anyway, sweet but very small and wizened-looking with the dry weather.
WM has just finished washing DS's stuff so it looks as if that will have to go in the TD this morning
Hope it dries up later as DD2 and I are taking DGS to get his first school shoes. He's really excited about going to "big school" (bless him, he's not even four until next Monday
) so hopefully he won't mind that the shoes have to be black! Most of his uniform has to be logoed, and to add insult to injury, the poloshirts aren't even white or pale blue, they're sort of aqua.
Oh before I forget, Welcome to our new posters, and (((HUGS))) to all in need of some today.0 -
Morning all,not been here for a while, just don't seem to have had chance somehow. Our weather is a bit better than of late,so am hoping to mow the grass in a bit.DH has hired an industrial hedge cutter with a long handle, and had great fun playing last night, will do more in the back later. We've just got loads to get rid of though, don't think it'll all fit in the green bin.He also did some in the neighbours garden, she is renting it out from next week and had mentioned trimming a holly tree. When I saw her I asked if she wanted it doing, yes she said-in a nice ball shape!Anyway he's not done a bad job of it,but I had to clear up after him and it was very prickly
We used to live in that bungalow till we moved in here,-I think DH quite enjoyed being back in the garden,as he said we had some good times there. She says our new neighbours seem very nice, hope so.
We are living out of the freezer, cash flow being a bit of a problem as we still haven't been paid up for the last job DH & DS did,I can see us going to court over it. Relations are now very strained between DH and ex client.Luckily,my freezer was full to bursting, thank goodness. On Saturday I made some soup from ham stock, cauliflower stalks and carrot peelings, and 2 leftover spuds-DH really enjoyed it :rotfl:,and was quite impressed with my MS ways.
My cousin rang last night and said her Mum (my last remaining aunt) had been found collapsed, she couldnt get in and had to get the police to break in.She was on her bed collapsed, and has been rushed to hospital. She is very dehydrated, and they think it could be a severe kidney infection, but need to do more tests.
Taplady- our previous mastiff always used to pick himself blackberries when I took him into the fields,we used to be fighting for the best ones
I'd forgotten about that so thanks for reminding me of a happy memory.
B-B - really sorry to hear of your difficulties.Big hugs from me ,love.
ooh ,the sun has come out ,so I'm off to mow a meadow...take care all.x:heartsmil 'A woman is like a teabag: You never know her strength until you drop her in hot water'. (Eleanor Roosevelt)0 -
