Where did you see them listed at £16?? I have checked and Argos only sell the PX100's not the PX100-II's.
The price on the net seems to range from £32-45.
hmm, ok, maybe I was wrong then. I guess £35 to £50 is not quite so much of a jump. I'm flattered you took the time to look them up.
@fluffnutter - Socialists still use money (forgive my spelling please, I do have dyspraxia/dyslexia to varying degrees.) And funny you should say that, I did once join the tory party, before I had a left-wing politics teacher (from germany) who spoke very enthusiastically about politics and encouraged us to really THINK about what we believed. Half of us joined the class as tories and left as socialists. One even left as a marxist...0 -

I am certainly one of these people who maintains a company blacklist. Once a company gets on my list the only way to get off is for them to make right what was done wrong. .............
There is no reason to blacklist food tesco because of something electrical tesco did.
This made me laugh.
OP you are another fuzzy communist! You will grow up one day and find life is to short for blackshirts and black lists.0 -

It makes sense if you don't quote snipe me by missing out the first sentance:
"Admittedly Tesco would probably be split into two sections, being so big. There is no reason to blacklist food tesco because of something electrical tesco did."0 -
Suggest that you escalate and complain to Sir Terry Leahy, Tescos Chief Executive via sending him an email at terry.leahy@uk.tesco.com.
Good luck and hope this helps.:)
You really are a prize winner aren't you?
The OP is going to complain that he could buy a product somewhere else cheaper?? maybe at the same time he should inform Sir Terry that the Pope is indeed Catholic and also that thing about the bears.Thinking critically since 1996....0 -

I think it's a valid complaint, tesco gives the image of being competitive with pricing and this vastly fails to live up to expectations.
Thank you, sirmarcus, I was going to go look for that email address.0 -
And along what lines do you intend to complain? that they have some prices more expensive than other retailers for some products?
I'm pretty sure he would not have got as far as Chief Exec if he didn't recognise the blooming obvious.
I am sure there must be a village somewhere missing you skellious.Thinking critically since 1996....0 -
I'd love to live in a nice quiet village, and hopefully in the future I will do. (and yes, if you like ill get the job of village idiot)
but complaining something is priced incosistantly with a brand image is valid. imagine if a tesco value tin of custard was priced ar £4, that's clearly out of line with thier brand image. Tesco as a whole also has an image of pricing things reasonably.0 -

I'd say Tesco aren't following a cost differentiation strategy anyway, much more selection / availability / breadth as their appeal. If they were price focussed they would be competing directly with Aldi or Netto.
This is purely my opinion but in my eyes tend to compete more directly with Sainsburys rather than Netto focussing on value, selection and quality (Tesco Finest etc) rather than just being cheap.
This would mean by definition they will be more expensive than other places. But that's just my musing.Thinking critically since 1996....0
