  • Having seen the OP's feedback, I'm surprised she's still getting buyers. Maybe the buyer was hasty leaving in feedback but I am not suprised they did with your past history.

I'm actually quite cross since creadin this post, my parcel was packaged correctly and i know i had a few problems in the past with parcels going missing but that was years ago.

I don't like the fact that on ebay you get judged because of your past history. I am trying to learn from my mistakes, but find it hard when i am put down straight away. All of the people whose parcels went missing got compensated.

I was only asking advice and have been judged because of my history.

I haven't seen your feedback so not sure how bad it is but if it is bad you can sign up under another name to start afresh if like you say the bad feedbacks were years ago? Just a thought :)

Definately start a new eBay account. You will sell better as a zero feedbacker than with the feedback you have, albeit a while ago. Wipe the slate clean and move on.
  • In terms of being judged on your past history, it's not really our opinions that matter, it's that of prospective buyers, and to be honest their thoughts will most probably echo what's been written here. Because of this, you're likely to get far lower prices for your items, and people will be far more trigger happy leaving more negatives if they see that others have before them, so as has mrs b and kevinyork suggest, you should definately think about starting again.

So if i start a new account it will be better even though my feedback is over 100? I do appreciate your comments.

I understand it looks bad and i did want to try and ressurect it, i was going through a bad time back then but am out the other side now.

    Thanx again

Personally I would rather buy fo ma seller with zero feedback than fr one with lots of negatives - especially if the negatives are mostly all for the same reason

You'll soon get your feedback up again

    Good luck:D

  • People are probably less likely to give you the benefit of the doubt if you have an apparently poor track history.

I still don't know how people here found your ID and I would make sure the new one is not easy to guess.

I don't know how they guessed its nothing like my username on here, very odd that one.
  • I didn't guess her ID, I searched for 'bathroom wall ornaments' (completed listings) with a view to helping the OP regarding having the neg removed.

You'll have no problems starting with a clean slate if you buy a few cheap items first to get some feedback before you start selling again, in my experience most people don't go through the feedback to see if you bought or sold, they just look for the 100%. HTH.
