Halifax Switching Incentive

I was told I might not be eligible because I completed the opening in the branch - basically I applied online then got a letter saying I had to come in to sign the ID form, which the lady on the phone said everyone had to do. I called last Friday and she said she'd try and find out what was going on - heard nothing back. Calling again now!0

you should be eligible as I did sign some letter as well as prove of signature if I remembered correctly0

Got it! After several phone calls, I eventually spoke to the lady that completed my account opening and it was in my account in 15 minutes!0

Anyone else having problems getting the £50 incentive? This thread seems to infer moneysupermarket sorted it out for some people but they asked to contact halifax who told me it was moneysupermarket who again told me it was halifax's responsibility. I opened the account early December via moneysupermarket and just thought I'd better nudge it along so they don't forget but I'm having problems with both of them saying it's the other's responsibility.0
