The overall size of the Galaxy S isn't much different to the Desire, as the SGS is a lot thinner than the Desire. Also, the SGS is lighter.

Fair use policy. Unlimited internet generally has a fair use policy attached which at worst means you get cut off or charged extra when you exceed the limit (3gb in this case) or at best, your service slows down a bit until the end on the charging month. T-Mobile do the latter.

Iv been looking myself at the HTC Desire and the Galaxy S, from what i have read and people i have spoken too and the phones iv messed with, the Galaxy S does come out on top to me... that screen is very nice! Problem is its just too big for me its like holding a CD tray up to your ear!!

I have just got th HTC Desire and it's brilliant. A little daunting at first, but after a a few days messing around and playing with apps etc, I am so glad I didn't spend any money on an Iphone.

I think your best bet is to go into a store and play with both phones (SGS and Desire) and see which one you like the most. Then look around online for a decent deal - like the one I posted earlier on. I will say that the Desire is probably better straight out of the box, but if you're willing to spend a bit of time optimising the SGS, it will wipe the floor with all other phones out there (including the Iphone 4). Oh, and Samsung has announced Froyo will be officially released for the SGS next month.

SGS beat the Iphone 4 in tests carried out by GSMArena, and that's on Eclair! It's going to fly with Froyo!

Ive got the dsire and its pretty good so far, it can do alot of stuff. The galaxy S looks pretty good as well. Either have a play in 1 of the shops or see if any of your friends have either phone, i bought the desire based on what id read and the way it looks and not because i knew someone who had 1

They have both in Tesco - if your Tesco has a mobile shop section! The SGS will be a dummy handset in there, though, so ask if you can see a real one (the dummy doesn't do it justice). Strangely enough, the staff will try to flog you the SGS over the Desire. I guess it's because they have no Desires in stock.
