Well it must have felt like a Monday but you are right its Tuesday one day nearer to the weekend.
Fridge Freezer has arrived and is now on its huge compared to the old one might be able to switch off the drinks one in the garage but then again that would 1/2 my freezer capacity.
Done MS I agree with TPA at ESA's reports are a total doddle compared to RE really quick just hope I have done them correctly.
Also got present for friends on Thursday so that is a lot done really apart from any work. Just cannot be asked really should have taken the day off maybe I shall feel better about it tomorrow.Save £12k in 25 No 49

Wow 10 days since I last wrote on here where has that week gone actually I know as it has been so busy. Had Monday night at HQ then had someone work related stay Tuesday night (only just made it home from HQ 5 min after she arrived. Then Wednesday meeting, working from home Thurs with MS in the evening so friend stayed over and it was a nice night and excellent food I must say. Today a meeting but felt so rubbish all day and now I have a headache. Still have loads I need to do before next week which is manic to say the least. Never mind right now its Friday and I have all worked and MS outed. Going to chill out and have an early night but no wine as I think I had a bit too much last night.
Hope you are all ok will get back into the money saving soon at least for now I am too busy to spend too much money and I am doing loads of MS.Save £12k in 25 No 49

Where did that last week go well I know it was called work and a bit of play. Learned why Flybe is called Flymaybe when my flight was canceled ended up at Exeter at 9pm instead of Southampton at 6pm luckily friend picked me up and took me to Cornwall. Learned some rubbish work related news down there but then took Thursday afternoon and Friday afternoon off. Spent the weekend down there and went fishing on her dads boat. Lovely time and lovely to catch up with friend.
Did not have time to search around for best home insurance and Tesco helped themselves to my card details from last year so now have renewal. Might just leave it at that I know it is not very MSE.
Nothing else to report, advantage of being away means you cannot spend any money and we now have smoked and fresh mackerel to last us for quite some time. Actually a bit bored with fish now.
Need to phone my sister so we can get Christmas arranged. Got my tickets for Denmark via Airmiles so only cost us £60 each 23rd to 30th Dec. I would like to take my Cornish friend to my mums but it all depends on what my sister is doing.
Will try to update more regulary from now on.Save £12k in 25 No 49

Evening in Oxford in an OK B&B within walking distance to where I need to be tomorrow so all is well. Got a long week ahead but meeting at HQ on Friday has just been cancelled which mean I won't get my new car yet. I don't really mind but still a shame.
Had a nice weeknd, two MS (only drinks ones) played some golf, failed to get the broken cord on the lawnmover fixed but did get 3 items on Ebay.
Champagne is already up to £10.75 not sure if I posted that my friends family in Cornwall asked me to sell it its quite old and not drinkable but should fetch a fair bit. Also got a left handed putter on the is too short for DH and the left handed club I bought by mistake. Paid £45 each for the putter and wood so would be nice to make at least that.
Went on the scales this morning I think they said 13.85 which is a slight loss. Also just found out my friend can come to Denmark as my Dad is going to my sisters. Long story but all good.
Really need some sleep now feel so tired.Save £12k in 25 No 49

Yes it is indeed although some of it does include the money I brought over from Denmark.
This month I had £200 left in my current account not really that brilliant must do better.
As you might recall I have 8 days leave left to take this year and can only carry over 5 so must take off 3 days. I want to get the lounge dinning room painted, the ceillings plastered smooth, and new flooring down. We have had a qoute for the plastering £340 or £350 which I am happy with. The floor has 16 year old carpets and they are really not good anymore. They are beige and have been cleaned loads of times but my two big cats are making a mess of them.
We are looking to get engineered floors down, oak brushed and oiled like this:
I have wanted wooden floors now for 16 years so as the whole room needs doing I might as well. Will need to paint everything so thats what I shall use my time off for.
Don't need any new furniture so only spend will be plastering, paints, floor and labour. We even have a light I can reuse but might need to pay an electrician to fit it.
Look forward to getting the prices we have had 2 quotes on the floor so far both really nice chaps.
Champers up to £33 and loads looking at the golf clubs so fingers crossed. The one I want to buy (right handed this time) is already up to £44 lets hope it doesn't go above £60 and mine sells for about the same.
Today I should have been at HQ picking up my new car but thats now going to be on the 11th Oct. Better get the old one cleaned except it raining so that will have to wait.
Hope you are all doing well off to check my online banking. (Sad I know)Save £12k in 25 No 49

Ebay things was a bit hit and miss. Champers ended at £103 so that was nice but the golf clubs ended up at £31 and £21 and I paid £45 for each of them. Also bought a right handed club for (wait for it) £80 but I really Really wanted it and I can now sell my Ping woods x 3.
Did not play at the weekend as we were invited to our neighbours for Sunday lunch. They have the most amazingg 3d telly but I was not that impressed with the Ryder Cup in 3d no entirely sure it was working properly. Still very good in HD as it so huge. Too much wine so Sunday evening was a write off.
Waiting for quotes for the floor 1 has come in at £1995, 1 we are waiting for and 1 is coming tomorrow. I'm away for two nights and tonight I am in central Bristol. I really want to go to IKEA but the roads look awfull so not sure I shall bother. Also need to pay for parking again if I go out.
Got all the paint now for the room bought a paintpod 1/2 at Focus plus the paints only £15 for 5 litre which I think is cheap for Dulux. Going for a just off white which I think will look good with the slightly darker floor.
Work is a nightmare holding a training day Wednesday and my speaker is off sick so got another one who is talking about something that is far to technical for the audience oh well we shall see I cannot do anything about it.Save £12k in 25 No 49

Sorry I have not updated for a while just been work work and work.
Floor is still not sorted, went for chap 2 and a floor and ended up not liking the floor so have to source that ourselves. Chap 1 who we did not go with then went on and on about how useless Chap 2 is as he used to work with him. Still went on to find a floor we liked got new quote from chap 2 and he is now £500 more expensive than chap 1 who we really don't want to go with now. Now have to find another cheaper floor which I think I have just waiting for samples and then if all is well we are back at the £2000 mark again. Phew hope I did not bore you too much. Can recommend rated people website for finding people who actually wants the job.
Plasterer is booked for 23rd so this weekend I need to start packing up the lounge plus play Men vs Ladies on Sunday. DH has not got around to signing up but I am playing with Ladies Champion in the first match - its a bit like our Ryder Cup so should be fun.
As you know sold the bottle of Champagne for £103 on Ebay and finally the buyer paid so I had to post it to France. Guess what you cannot send any liquids abroad not even with Royal Mail so had to refund her the money and hope the 2nd highest bidder wants it if not it will be such a shame. I didn't want to send it abroad in the first place so annoying.
Of other new got a new car - black Audi A3 Sportsback and my god is it sporty. It looks fab I must say drives lovely but is a bit cramped and I cannot get the seating right so I don't end up with a back ache. Will have to work on that.
Regarding work I had some horrid news about my area I currently cover Cornwall to East Sussex up to the M4 and under London. However 1 person is leave so now we are 3 covering everything so I get 5 new counties to cover, Kent, London, Buckinghamshire, Hertfordshire and Oxfordshire. Not looking forward to being sat on the M25 for the next few years. Really sucks but fair cop I have been lazy and not had that many appointments so getting a bigger area will help except my boss does not understand the need to stay over in hotels when the journey is likely to take 1 ro 2 hour longer due to traffic. Plus I don't want to live my week in hotels. Will have a think its not until 1st April we get this new area and there just aren't any jobs out there right now.
I think I have bored you all enough now will get on with some work now. Off to Pilates and then 1 appointment 2 min away. Nice.Save £12k in 25 No 49

Having a nice weekend lovely sunshine perfect for golf today and my partner and I beat the men we were playing against not sure what the overall result was as I did not stay to the end.
Got the final quote for the floor £930 plus just the actual floor today just over £1100 but right on the £2k budget we had set. Booked dehumidifier too.
Floor is solid oak new from Topps Tiles I saw they were on Quidco so that would be 6% so went down there and managed to get them to match it Got £66 off and the manager had never heard of Quidco. Have to collect it myself whereas online would have been free delivery but if anything goes wrong they recommended the underlay so nice to get it all from the same place.
Going to watch some telly and chill out this evening. Off to London overnight tomorrow should be someone else there as well from my company so might have a nice night out in London.Save £12k in 25 No 49
