Not doing to badly diet-wise managed to get to the gym for a workout last night only to find a new class called Get Fit with Mel B (what a naff title) anyway did not know what it was so went and asked. Turned out they need a min of 4 people to run the class to jumped in. Quite hard work as I had not done anything since late October but really good. Glad it was only 45 min as lots of Aerobic stuff and Dance stuff so I quickly went beetroot red in the face. Feel sore today but thats cool mean it worked. Also ate sensibly only had a hot chocolate (made with left over real dark chocolate) and no wine. Still thinking about Weight watchers but one of the personal trainers at the Gym has a diet thing you can sign up to (I have used him before although not for diet stuff) so might have another look.
Got the presentation written I had promised my team at work and got praise for it from the boss, well she said what a good start. Must hit the phone to make some appointments.
Gamblingwise not doing to great off to cancel some more accounts.
Managed to cancel our critical life insurance which I should have done about 6 months ago. Also just called the dentist but engaged so will try again. Actually got got through booked for tomorrow (gold star for me!!)
Well better get on with it for today.Save £12k in 25 No 49

So bad yesterday had 2 1/2 glasses of Rose so went 300 calories over my allowance on MyFitnessPal. Today has been better went out for lunch but only had the carrot and coriander soup (homemade) ate 1/2 the bread roll and did not use butter. Cooking sausages and mash for dinner but they are from the butchers so should be nice and lean. Just walked to the postbox 10 min and I almost ran as it was raining. So nice to add that to the food diary shows I have burned 73 calories -think I am getting addicted.
Bought some more fabric today in the sale some really pretty pink stripy stuff and some pink silk that would go as a contrast. It also matches some I have already so will make myself 2 gym bags one small for Ipod and bottle of water and a larger one to keep in the car with all the kit so I can use it when away in hotels or if I am going straight to the gym. Have so many tracksuits it makes sense.
So £50 for fabric (will make a lot out of that for presents etc) and £8 for a Groupon offer only just discovered that. £8 for 1 hour indoor golf usually £8 per person and as we are not playing in the rain it makes sense to get a bit of practice. Also can hopefully combine with a nice lunch courtesy of MS.
Work is going quite well a colleague of mine is leave so she is booking joint appointments for me so that fills up the diary also helping out another on which means a trip to Wrexham in North Wales. That is a long long way from the South Coast isn't it. I mean they say the roads a so bad. Furthest I have been is Aberystwyth will have to stay over. As we are going to get targeted on the amount of appointments we do I thought I better help out where I can.
Right almost 5pm think I shall call it weekend now. Take care hope you all have a lovely one.Save £12k in 25 No 49

Hi TG
Just been catching up on your diary. I noticed you mentioned Groupon, up until a month ago I'd never heard of it and now it seems like someone around me mentions it nearly every day! It's a great site with loads of fab offers! By the way, did you know that you can also use Topcashback to get cashback on Groupon purchases - how mad is that, talk about getting an extra bonus!
I actually used a Groupon voucher last night, paid £5 for the voucher which then gave you £20 off an Indian meal so the bill for two came to £37 minus the £20 so only £17 to pay and including the £5 original fee meant a very nice meal for two (starter, main, drinks and coffee) for £23.
I know you like golf and they do some great golfing deals too, my brother-in-law has just bought £80's worth of golf time for £19 and then he told his father who did the same!
Me and my mother are soon off to a place to have a massage and we also got these from Groupon, £26 for two instead of £44. I have massages pretty regularly and always pay £30 so £13 is a great deal and I'll be using Groupon much more!MFW Start Date 1.4.08. Updated 23.1.18. MFW date 1.8.18

Thanks Aboutmetoo I saw it first on Facebook but did not get onto signing up until yesterday on Wednesday they had a manicure offer at the tiny beauty salon I got to 1 mile away but it was too late so will now be watching it every day. How does the referral thing work? Tried to refer DH but he has still not got the email. Thanks for the tip about cashback did not know that.
Well done on the mortgage reduction I remember you from the MFi3 Chart.Save £12k in 25 No 49

Aw, it's a shame you just missed out on the manicure but I'm sure there will be lots of other lovely opportunities. Re the referral, I'm not quite sure which aspect you mean. I've not yet done an on-line referral myself but my mother did one for me and I received the email fine. As I say I've not done it but anecdotally I belive that the person who does the referral get £6 if the person buys it but I think there might be a caveat that they have to buy it within a certain time frame. I've just had a quick peek at the site to check but on first glance I can't see that caveat.
Thanks for your best wishes for my mortgage reduction, one the one hand I'm very happy with what I've done so far but on the other hand I know I can do so much better! I'm OP'ing by £500 pm month but really there is no good reason why I shouldnt be paying off double that but I had a very self indulgent year last year with purchases for myself, and holidays and city breaks. I've actually reapid £28,266 now but I report a bit less on my signature as i only record on there what I've done since I started Op'ing rather than from the start of the mortgage.
I'm with you on the needing to lose a few pounds but I just finished a lump of tiramisu a few minutes ago

Totally with the there Aboutimetoo I thought we would be able to save loads once the mortgage was paid off but it has not really happened yet.
Washing Mashine arrived today refused to pay the £5 extra (£20 was dear enough for delivery) so it could be anytime between 8am and 6pm it came at 2pm. He was so nice the guy even cut the plug off and put another one on so it could go through the worktop I thought he would refuse to do that. Just washed some dressing gowns nice to see how long it takes and they came out so dry. Usually I would have had to spin again so should save loads on the new one in electricity.
Went to Macro got a nice offer on loo roll and next door wanted some so we each get 24 rolls means there is more space in the garage.
Got 3 pork fillets at £5 thats stews so very cheap. Cooking stew in the slow cooker and been quite good today dietwise.
Made myself a small gym bag with Laura Ashley fabric the pink silk looks fab against the dark red I white floral one I had. Also made a small Ipod cover. Might take a picture of them and post them here as I am so pleased with them. Still wants to make a bigger bag but that will be tomorrow. As dinner is sorted and DH is watching starwars on the telly I am mooching around on the internet instead.
Next door has said she will come to the gym for 3 classes next week so that will mean I shall go too. Fab news
Hope you are all having a nice evening.Save £12k in 25 No 49

Great news here :j:j:j:j :jafter 10 days I have lost :j:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:3.6 kilo or 8 pounds :T:T:T:T
Seems a lot but I have weighed myself several times now and its saying 84.4. Really spurred me on to get into the 70's now even if it is a long way to go.
Been ok I think it has helped to write down everything I eat on that app, really easy and quick and it makes you think before you go to the fridge. Went out for lunch MS yesterday had a big roast dinner. Nearly ate it all went home and looked up the calories online 900 wow that is a lot so only have hummus and pita bread with 2 carrots for dinner. Also 1 glass of wine.
Also managed to make the larger gym bag so that is now in the car all packed and lined another bag I have made previously with the pink silk now really nice and I can use it more.
Not a busy week workwise but must get some appointments lined up for later in the week or boss will be very unhappy.
Off to post on the MFW diet thread - happy days.Save £12k in 25 No 49

Did Bodylmp last night and off to MelB aerobics tonight then Pilates Friday really good to have friend to go with.
Got a fab deal on massages from Goupon yesterday hopefull we can go soon as my back hurts a bit still.
Work doing ok found a nice job I really fancied yesterday but I don't have the management skills or HR experience needed unfortunately so may not go for it. I am meeting with the person running the recruitment later on this month so might ask her. Same as I am paid now but no car and a lot more responsibility. However working from home and only covering Hampshire that would be a breeze for me.
Well better get on with it, stew in the slow cooker but need to nip down to DH office to pick up a fax.Save £12k in 25 No 49

Thanks SMLSave I am sure I could make you a bag, its teal or pink at the moment. I seem to remember from the MFi3 you are quite local to the area I live in or do I remember incorrectly.
Been thinking about that job and I think its a step too far, you have to run budgets and apply for funding something I have never done but will have a chat to the lady when I see her next week.
Of to Reading today then Bracknell then Maidstone and my satnav will not let me in. I think its charging but it could let me use it.
No gym last night class was cancelled only me and my friend and she did not want to stay and work out in the gym so came home. Also had 1 glass of rose which was rubbish really. Still no point being annoyed about it they are moving the class to 5.30 so hopefully more can attend.Save £12k in 25 No 49
