JulieJim - 16 days! Please tell me you have access to a WM if not then find a laundrette rather than take the kids entire wardrobes!

My grandparents live there so I can use their WM but as my grandad isn't very well I'd prefer not to use it too much.

Well I've not done as well as I hoped, BUT I have done SOME stuff including HHI which is a miracle. Off to put my feet up now. Happy flying tomorrow.
Hugs to all and a prayer for some dry weather. It hasn't stopped here ALL week. Harumph!

Hugs Hol! And Hellyboo - I flipping hate kids :rotfl: ... I love them, but they are just awful sometimes.

Little one was eating his dinner last night and was making a fine mess getting everywhere except in his mouth.....He is 8!!!! And should be able to use a fork and knife for Petes sake.

Anyway I said to him, "I could have a chimpanzee and it would make less mess than you", to which he quickly replied, "Well get a chimpanzee then!"

It was so unexpected for him to say that too me, he normally doesnt answer back, but he is soooooo witty now! Grrrrr - It one of those cheeky moments, when all you want to do is laugh, but you know you shouldnt! :rotfl:

Ollie's favourite word atm is "no" even if it's something he'd quite like to do/eat/have it's "no". "No biscuit" "no play cars" "no playgroup" :wall: It drives me batty! You have to make everything sound really exciting for him to even consider it, and there's only so many times you can sound excited about going to Tesco... He'll be 3 in October and I'm hoping soon the end of the terrible two's will come - but from reading all your stories I'm not feeling so hopeful!

Anyway, I'm feeling pretty pleased with what I got done today, all the things I wanted to get done and could do from today's list, plus a few S&S's and Ollie and I even baked our muffins. I haven't tried one yet but from the rate at which Ollie and OH's disappeared I think they're good!

No weekend for me as OH is working, with a toddler and a small baby the week and weekend blend into one when he's not here :( But it leaves me free to fly I guess!

Hugs/spoons/good vibes to everyone who needs/wants them x
    So, there are these boys,
    They kinda stole my heart,
    They call me Mummy

    Evening all,

I hope you have good holidays Julie & Hex.

Ds2 decided somewhat reluctantly that the toddler slide that was Ds1's 11 years ago:eek: could go and 2 of his 3 trikes. His car which he can just about still squeeze into and is also 11 years old has to stay. So they've all been scrubbed to within an inch of their lives.

Since my last post i have

    Finished cooking tea
    Cleaned toys
Ds1 tidied & hoovered living room & unloaded dw
    Put rabbits to bed
    Put Ds2 to bed
    loaded dw
    Cleared drainer
Handwashed the stuff that was still dirty
    S & S Kitchen
    Put yesterdays ironing away

I've also taken my neighbours cat back to them after it tried to come in my house again. It's ever so friendly and is always in my back garden usually trying to get in. One day we were eating in the dining room with the window open and it climbed on the window ledge and tried to get through the window.

I've got to sort all the stuff for the car boot now, i think i'll price it this time and see how that goes.

Julie and Hex I hope you all have wonderful holidays, safe journeys and a good rest xx

I've got a grumpy imp on my shoulder today and I want rid of it. So not in the mood for house guests for the weekend. No meal plan done. No shopping list done. No cake planned. Feeling like a two year old saying No No No - perhaps a glass of wine will help?

  • Haven't done much Flying today - stripped the bed and washed sheets this morning, but haven't made the bed up clean yet - next job.

Seem to have shingles - have all the symptoms except the rash, which the GP thinks will come out at any time. I feel sort of fluey, and am dosed up with painkillers. Off to the land of nod as soon as I've done the bed, and hope to catch up with everything in the morning.
Keeping two cats and myself on a small budget, and enjoying life while we're at it!

I've decluttered a very nice glass of wine.:D Suddenly sorting through the car boot stuff isn't so bad. I'm about 1/3 of the way through, i suppose i'd better go a bit quicker if i don't want to be up until stupid o clock.

    Hugs to Winchelsea.

    Evening all,

Hex & Julie hope you have agood holiday

    Dusty good visitor vibes

I can report that i have finally got the LR upto flylady standards and the bathrooms.

    HOwever

when taking FILto the hospital today (rather stupidly wearing sandals) i stumbled on his wheelchair and have managed to break the bone in my baby toe which apart from being strapped against my foot nothing can be done for - it may be small but its black and blue and sore!!!!

I have taken comfort in some white that came from a bottle and the realisation that the bq that i was to be the driver for tomorrow, i still will be needing my medicine and so OH can drive home!!!! I may be okay on sunday but will have to decide then.......
