    Debt-free and Proud!
    Well, was quite productive in my 2 x HHC and together with putting away all the washing and ironing, this is what I have managed to do all week - if it's gone it's done;

Monday - Sitting Room and Hallway
    Level Three
    Wipe sofas
Tuesday ~ Kitchen and Dining area
    Level Three
    Clean out the fridge thoroughly
    Extras
    Descale kettles/irons/taps etc
Wednesday - Bathroom and Study/Pc Area
Thursday ~ Master Bedroom & Landing
    Level 2
    Wash windows and nets/curtains
    Level 3
Sort through a box or bag of stuff you've not looked at in months..
    Extras
Wipe grotty paintwork.. touch up any bits that are looking shabby
    Wash windows
Friday - childrens rooms and spare room
    Level Two
    Wash windows
    Level Three
Sort through a box of toys/gibble

Not so bad really, thanks ladies for the help/encouragement/inspiration. I'm off now to do the downstairs loo and start cooking dinner.

    Have a good weekend.

Thanks vanilla, I googled it and hairspray or rubbing alcohol is what came up, so I looked on the can of hairspray and the first ingredient is alcohol - it worked a treat and OH will be none the wiser ;)

    Afternoon all,

Massive hugs and positive vibes for LadyL, i hope you're ok.

    Well done Greenbee.

Argh! My blinking kids. I had to leave nev's early because Ds2 was being a PITA. He wouldn't sit down he wanted to go in the kitchen ( and open the fridge ), or the garden and kept breaking the stairgate and letting the dog in. If he wasn't doing that he had to be the centre of attention or he was touching stuff he shouldn't. We had words on the way home and he's been like an angel since. He went up to his room with a little knife and has been stripping the wallpaper off with it and then putting it in a bag.

I get home and Ds1 hasn't done the hoovering i asked him to do and he'd cooked something and left the kitchen in a mess. I got him to clean that up and then i went to his room to get my laptop back. I stepped on a big chunk of cheese. When i asked him why there was a chunk of cheese on the floor he said he took a bite and didn't like it so he spat it out.:mad::mad::eek: I mean he's 13 years old for goodness sake Ds2 who's 4 wouldn't do that. I told him to clean his room now and he shouted at me and slammed the door in my face. So i took his xbox and then he unplugged the wireless router and said i'd taken something off him so he was taking something off me.:mad::mad: I will be keeping the xbox until he's learnt some respect for me and my house.

    Sorry rant over :o

I really need to go to curves but i'm not leaving Ds1 here alone and OH has got the train to work today and won't be home in time. I'd better phone the garage too as they shut at 5 and i'll need to go and get the car.

Boy I've found this hard. HOnestly!
RIght off to hoover the lounge and hall. Load the dishwasher. then take a rest. I may swish and swipe in the bathroom.

Thanks for the support guys - dustykitten and xxJoxx. I do hope to find it easier. I just seem to tire so easily.
I did the hoovering and loaded the dishwasher. And again just now. The bathroom is looking a bit yucky so will have to wipe something around.
The hoovering was broken up by me cutting up the bag and looking to see what I'd hoovered up that went clang! Oops couldn't find whatever it was. I hope it enjoys its time in hoover heaven. :A

Hugs Hol! And Hellyboo - I flipping hate kids :rotfl: ... I love them, but they are just awful sometimes.

Little one was eating his dinner last night and was making a fine mess getting everywhere except in his mouth.....He is 8!!!! And should be able to use a fork and knife for Petes sake.

Anyway I said to him, "I could have a chimpanzee and it would make less mess than you", to which he quickly replied, "Well get a chimpanzee then!"

It was so unexpected for him to say that too me, he normally doesnt answer back, but he is soooooo witty now! Grrrrr - It one of those cheeky moments, when all you want to do is laugh, but you know you shouldnt! :rotfl:

I know what you mean xx jo xx, my 7 year old has just mastered the art of backchat, and it is a real battle of wills going on here now - he is becoming a bit rude and disrespectful and it is driving me nuts.... when are they back at school?

Anyway very productive 2nd HHC, have made bed and tidied round in master bedroom, made DS1s bed and a quick once over, and s and sd the bathroom and changed all the towels. I have also folded all the dried washing and put it all away and tidied the rest of the conservatory. Kitchen has had a very quick tidy round. Looks much better. Now totally out of spoons, but very pleased with myself! Hopefully DH will run around the hoover for me later, and we look a LOT better. Its amazing how actually getting off my backside and doing something makes the house tidier!

So - a good week for me, hoping for an even better week next week!

Thanks for the company invisiblecabbage and lemanie, it helped!

The car's ready so i need to go and pick that up now. When i get back i need to put tea on and sort the car boot stuff ready for tomorrow now OH's car is better.

Ds1 has said sorry, he also said he couldn't tidy his room as he'd already filled the laundry basket up and had nowhere to put the rest of the dirty clothes. So he's learnt how to use the washing machine.;)
