    Hi,

I've picked OH's car up, slung fish fingers and chips in the oven and taught Ds1 how to load the dw.

I've just remembered i haven't had any lunch, no wonder i'm starving. I need to sort out what garden toys of Ds2's are coming to the car boot, none if he gets his way. He's too big for a lot of it and for some reason he has 3 push along trikes ( OH's inability to say no if someone offers him something ). I may have to pick OH up from the station too so i really should get a move on i just CBA.

Friday - childrens rooms and spare room
    Level One
Clear the floor!!! Done, insofar as it's a store room, and Penny's “suitcase” is also in there.
    vacuum the floor Done
Make half an hour to do something for yourself! Ooh, problematic. Perhaps half an hour of computer gaming after dinner.;)
    Level Two
Strip the bedding get it washed and remake the bed N/A
    Wash windows Done
Binbag dance (doesn't have to be in one room it can be from all over the house!) Done
    Level Three
tidy the cupboards /drawers of clothes All tidy
Sort through a box of toys/gibble N/A – none left to go through
Wipe grotty marks from the walls and paintwork Done

    Extras
    1. Clean out any pongy pets She's not pongy, but Penny has had a good brushing, as she is moulting!:o
    2. dust the light fittings/curtain poles etc Done
    3. HHI HHWii instead
    4. HHC in a room that needs lots of attention!! N/A – the whole bungalow has been done this week, and tbh there aren't any hotspots left that I know of that I can get to (only the loft, and I can't get up there:()
All done for today, just the pizza for tonight's dins to construct.:o
I do hope to find it easier. I just seem to tire so easily.
I know the feeling well.:o I try, if possible, to alternate between physically active tasks and sitting down tasks (such as checking email, doing the finances etc). Also, I tend to try for QHCs (Quarter Hour Challenges) rather than HHCs. If you can break jobs down into component mini-tasks, that helps, too - what Mr LW calls "how to eat an elephant" ie a small bit at a time!;)

Little one was eating his dinner last night and was making a fine mess getting everywhere except in his mouth.....He is 8!!!! And should be able to use a fork and knife for Petes sake.

Anyway I said to him, "I could have a chimpanzee and it would make less mess than you", to which he quickly replied, "Well get a chimpanzee then!"

It was so unexpected for him to say that too me, he normally doesnt answer back, but he is soooooo witty now! Grrrrr - It one of those cheeky moments, when all you want to do is laugh, but you know you shouldnt! :rotfl:
:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:Sorry, but that just made me crease up! If it's any consolation, I have a DH like that - messy eater, I mean!:rotfl:

I am stunned at how much easier packing etc is with the assistance of DH. Usually he is away for work and rolls up at the last minute, but today he has really helped and I am hours ahead, and fairly chilled about everything. He should lose his job more often :A

I have one bedroom to polish and hoover, a bathroom to S&S and the ground floor to hoover and S&S. I usually do this at midnight :D

I might even be in bed for 10pm ;)
and still be speaking to DH :p

    hello flyers..
I have flown in two counties today...

went to OH's yesterday (film night planned at cas) and since DD (somewhat prudish) wasn't here decided I might not come back so packed accordingly;). His face lit up when I said I didn't have to go home:D so all worries about outstaying welcome evaporated. Spare key found for me to lock up after he went to work (up at 6 - I ask you) I was called at 8:30 and invited out for lunch. Since it was lashing down I decided to give Freeport a miss and tidied up;) and did some flying;). Got phone call at 12 from ma - apparently DS was worried..could I contact him...

anyway, after a somewhat harrowing drive home due to hold ups on A1 and M1 I eventually spoke to DS about his concern - ma had phoned for me and been told I wasn't back yet - DS wasn't worried though...*roll eyes* I have been fibbed to;)

anyway got home to find NO CAT had been fed 'because they didn't go their dishes'...luckily dry food had been left out, and a complete MESS in the kitchen - hence necessity for flying here...

*goes to catch up with fred*

I wasn't planning to do level 2 this week but as we had the first dry day for ages today I stripped all the beds so I could get them dry outside for a change.

Yay, I've completed my first Flylady week! I am intending to keep this up now, so Level 2 next week for me, I am hooked!!

    It's only a game

    Evening all.

Just the dailies achieved this morning. Got the deeds for the house and didnt realise I would also get all the previous owners documentation too. It goes back to the 1800s so will make interesting reading.

Had blood tests done and got results a couple of hours later and all well. They thought I had a blood clot.

    One load of washing in.
Paperwork sorted and ready to post.
    Recycling out.
    Sofa cleared.
    Clean washing put away.
    Shredding done.

    Ready for a cuppa now.

    Nevaeh Happy Birthday.
