Hi everyone
Welcome to Jenny and Green Anne  - can't wait to see your lists.
Been really busy recently, so haven't had the time to get anything ticked off. I have worked out that I need to do 1 task every 9 days to get my list completed on time. Not so daunting when you think of it like that.
Therefore in September I need to complete at least 3 tasks. I am off on holiday on Monday for a week, so will take my list with me and see if there's anything I can cross off.
Well done to everyone who has crossed something off their lists recently :T

Morning all!!
As it is now September i will update my progress. I have been away for a few days.
I am sad to report i only completed 7 items from my list!!
I am a little annoyed especially as to complete selling my CD's it was just to list 7 cd singles on ebay a week ago and i didnt! I have done all the hard work of selling all our albums a couple months ago!
But lets focus on the two things i have done this week
21 Carve my name on a tree
61 Go camping for MORE than 2 nights
I am pleased with this week. We decided last week to take the kids camping to Dartmoor - OH said he had the camping itch! So i told him we had to book 3 nights so i could cross it off my list! So we went and while we were there we went for a walk around a reservoir that OH and i visited on our first day out together 9 and a half years ago. So i thought it was a perfect opportunity to carve it somewhere special. In fact rather than my name i decided i wanted to cheesily do MK 4 KK(i'm KK) So i ticked it off. Also while we were away we found another 5 geocaches so that adds to my total to get to 100. Nealry halfway there. Also everynight we sat out and stargazed together after the kids were alseep. blankets, a hot drink and then alcohol while watching the stars for an hour or two
It was lovely. Plus i ticked star gazing off my list ages ago - but it was only 10 mins of looking through FIL's telescope - so now i feel i have rightly ticked it off.
So in August
18 Complete a colouring book
19 Send a message in a bottle
39 Read all of the Harry Potter books
80 Replace the kids under bed boxes with good quality ones
25 Buy sexy lingerie from La Senza or Ann Summers
21 Carve my name on a tree
61 Go camping for MORE than 2 nights

Hi nat. Thanks for de-lurking! I wonder how many others read our ramblings and don't comment....
Your list looks good; you've got a few *interesting* things on there
I'd love to include your #14 (make me happy) on my next list, but I'm not sure how I'd quantify that. Maybe I need to define what would make me happy first, then I'd know what I was heading for.
Could I just say that for #90 you've said "buy a chicken". Is that one for cooking or a live one for getting eggs? If it's the latter, then chickens are flock animals and you should really consider getting two. It's no more outlay really and you'll get twice as many eggs as well as having a happier bird (or two!) I've had four since last March and wish I'd done it years ago.
You were certainly up late last night writing your list. Any idea which ones you'll be starting with?Making magic with fabricLight travels faster than sound. This is why some people appear bright until you hear them speak.0 -

Its not the most adventurous list but that because I've achieved so much already; I foster, own my own business, chopped my hair off, relocated, changed jobs ect..I got stuck thinking of more things! Yes, thee are a few um, er, interesting things but thats because I se them as a challenge and to be able to do that would represent freedom, I care for 4 children so all of my list is a challenge! I like the 'say yes for a day' too, Im always saying no to my oldest when he ask to do things so I'd love to surprise him and say yes to everything! Im sure he'd soon catch on and ask cheeky questions! 'Mummy can I have £100?!'
Looking forward to getting started....
