Bliming heck!! I failed my no eating sweets for a month! A complete accident!! DD2 bought some sweets when we went on a picnic and she offered me some and i absentmindedly ate some!! Arrrggghhh so annoying!!
However i have done that extra task that wasnt on my pledge list for August so that takes over my sweets task. Will need to wait for the weekend and next week to get on with the rest!
Perni and Emzilla- thanks for the congrats! I am soo relieved. Just got to focus on the project!
Spending today sorting out DD1's room - so i had better get on!!Orange Fairy

Confession time….
Life hasn’t been brilliant for a few months and things came to a head last week (involving the boys in blue, but that’s a long story) and I was debating giving up this challenge and concentrating on staying safe and sane. However, after much discussion and soul-searching I have decided to carry on. It does mean that many of the things I had planned to do in August won’t happen as three or four of them would have been done on a “road-trip” around Britain and that isn’t going ahead.
I didn’t want to be the first to fail the August challenges, but life got in the way big style.
But, peoples, the witch is still doing her 101 things, which is a miracle in itself, and I will try my hardest to get a few things finished this month now that the fear and tears have subsided.

So sorry you've had a hard time Stitchy. Don't worry about the August challenge. I'm not sure I will get mine done either. Just take your time and restart again when you are ready.
Take care

Aww Stitchy that's awful. I hope you're ok and that you are staying safe! Perhaps focusing on your 101 things you can get through this tough time a little easier.
Much Love

Blimey Stitchy you are a tough cookie, I'm so sorry to hear things have been so bad for you lately - you hide things much better then I do. Go on & have a good ol' rant if you like, trust me it helps you feel a little better just getting it off your chest to people who can't get involved too much!
As others have said I wouldn't worry about the August challenge, unfortunately as you said life just gets in the way sometimes & there's nothing you can do about it but move forward, (which is what you're doing by sticking with it, well done!) so far I haven't really done a whole lot either if it makes you feel any better.
So I say let's give ourselves a break & aim to do more next month. I am planning on completing at least three in September, & who knows hopefully a few more will just fall into place, I'm sure the same will happen to you xx:idea:Debt at July 2012: £12,862.57

I taught the BF how to swim over the weekend so that's one thing off of my list... Currently doing the 'no sweets for a week' and it's hard!! XxxLife is too short not to love what you do.0
