:rotfl:) oh well good job she loves me & is a very appreciative person. another £2 into the coffers
Will aslo finish 1984 this morning - although this is part of my write a list of 20 books & read them so it'll be a while before I do that one!
gonna update my list now and remind myself of what I thought I could achieve this month.
Happiness to you all x
ok looked at my list and these are what I intend to do:
#56 make a pavalova
#64 go to the philosophy group 20.08.11 didn't go to the group this month as it was mil's birthday & we went out for a meal. Am definately going next month!
#17 make a recipe book for a friend - done 09.08.11
#20 find out more about the world wars
#43 say yes to every invitation for a month
#44 loose a stone - I have lost 8lbs already so 6 to go! 12.08.11 another lb gone! 20.08.11 another 1.5lbs gone - only 3.5lbs to go until this one is ticked off :j 26.08.11 another 2lb loss :j only another 1.5lbs until this baby is ticked off for good! :T 03.09.11 lost another lb :j 0.5lbs to go - should be done by next week
#78 give blood - last time I went I was low in iron but this time I am forewarned and will take iron supplements with a glass of oj for 10 days before I go!
#89 make/customise a piece of clothing - I'm going to make a clutch bag - 03.09.11 finances & time have delayed this one till next month...
I've just seen I have give blood twice & only 100 things so need to come up with two more...
ok I think that's about all I am achieve
And I've done a quarter of my list already
ok have been looking through my list again and think as well as the above I can also get the following ticked off over the next month:
#16 Watch 10 movie "classics" I haven't seen before
#22 Have a midnight picnic with my love- am going to wait for the next nice evening & do a rooftop picnic :T we live in a 3 storeytown house with a flat roof. We're moving in just over a month so want to have a romantic & champagne picnic before we go! 03.09.11 we did this last night. It was lovely, nice evening, nice food & wine & lovely company. We chatted & laughed it was great
#23 go out and dance all night like I used to & really love it :-)am going out dancing with my best friend next weekend :T (not all night but till about 2) nope this didn't happen
#101 have my tattoos removedwell this one is going to be in 6 weeks time when I return for my 2nd lot of lazering (ouch!)
still need to think of something to replace the 2nd giving blood... alos need to replace getting a cocker spanile as this isn't going to happen.
I have decided to give the cash I saved up for the things done to charity. I work for an organisation that works with vulnerable people. A group of 3 young people have been accepted to the Releigh Trust & will be going off for a 3 month life changing experience to a developing country. They need to raise the cash for their flights & also living expenses. So thought this is what I would like to do with my £50 raised so far 03.09.11 did this yesterday

That's an amazing thing to do DNMS. It means that others can benefit from your list as well as yourself.
I've got next week off so, apart from a sewing course on Monday, I can dedicate a week to getting stuff done. I've got a few orders to work on but I'm sure I'll fit in some 101 things too. :jMaking magic with fabricLight travels faster than sound. Just had a quick look and I'll definately tick off #55 (pay off loan by 31.12.11) next month ahead of schedule. That will free up enough money the following month to do #56 (pay off Lloyds CC by 29.09.12) as I also did a balance transfer out of that.
I could possibly tick off #3 (lose another half a stone) as I have lost it already, but thought I'd leave it a while to see if it goes back on
Okay, what else can I do whilst waiting for this carbon-monoxide-induced thumping headache to disappear?? :rotfl:Making magic with fabricLight travels faster than sound. This is why some people appear bright until you hear them speak.0 -

Aww your rooftop picnic sounds so romantic! I think I may have to add this to my next list
Do you mind me asking why you want your tattoo's removed? I have a couple I plan to get done that I've wanted for ages so I'm sure I want them....but it does worry me that one day I may be in the same situation as you!
You're very generous DNMS, well done xstitching_witch wrote: »Just had a quick look and I'll definately tick off #55 (pay off loan by 31.12.11) next month ahead of schedule. Wow Stitchy you're set to cross off more than me at this rate! Well done!
I would say cross off lose half a stone, you have done it & if you cross it off you will feel obligated to keep it off else it's like cheating yourself having an item crossed off that no longer applies! Believe me I did the same with the lateness thing on my list.:idea:Debt at July 2012: £12,862.57
:dance:Current Debt: £0 :j
100% paid off!

I have a homemadeone on my wrist of a flower with the word peace written underneath it on my forearm
:o:o I thought I was a hippy at 14/15/16 so when I left home my then boyfriend did it for me. I really regret it & always catch people noticing it so I thought I'd get it removed. 20 years on I did regret it.
I personally wouldn't have any more but I think if you do make sure its something classy that you'll still like when you're 60 and have it somewhere discrete so it can't be seen when you go to work/interviews or when you want to wear a classy dress - my 2 pence worth!DF as at 30/12/16

Ah, fortunately when I was that age although I was sure I wanted a tattoo, I wasn't sure what of, so I never got one! Then as I grew a bit older, a friend who is a few years older then me commented that maybe I didn't know what I wanted yet as nothing had really happened yet to deem getting one. (I'm one of those people that likes tattoos with meaning) & he was right. Being a few years older now I can clearly envisage a few things I would like that symbolise parts of my life, some good, some bad, but all to remind me of the things I have learnt from them.
They're classy designs imo, & one could very easily be hidden for interviews etc, but the other one I wanted on my wrist...I don't really want it anywhere else because of what it means but am a tad worried I may regret that one when I'm 60! How good is laser removal these days?:idea:Debt at July 2012: £12,862.57

Well I keep looking at my list and I bought Lemons the other day for the lemonade!
here is a link, I have done 12 http://dayzeroproject.com/user/buffygetsalife/todo
I may have to rethink some of the travel ones, not sure if I can afford them and actually not that sure I want to work abroad any more either! They might be moved on to my Someday list and be replaced by other things I want to do.
