I agree 100% with everything thats been said in this thread!
And to combat the issue of people being scammed by SweetCollect I am thinking of openning my own similar site that offers free sweets (of course mine would actually pay up and wouldn't have all the dodgy business tactics that Carl uses!)
But before I do this, I need to make sure I have support from other people (not money or direct help of course) in that they will sign up and use the site.
Anyone interested?

And as for candyrewards.com that site is owned by Sweetcollect/ Carl Knight. They've just covered it up with the email address on the contact us page and using a different company name for the whois, privacy policy etc (iFreemedia is owned by Carl as well)
Based on the whois it seems like Carl Knight might be trying to pull another 'ditch a company/ site and start fresh without the bad reputation'. Looks like he might have deliberatly stopped caring about Sweetcollect and is starting again with candyrewards.com. Consequently I wouldn't recommend anyone use candyrewards.com0 -
Any evidence to back that up? that candyrewards is owned by sweetcollect?0

I "know" the people who run Candy Rewards, and they are ex-sweetcollect users who are dissatisfied. They are of no relation to Carl Knight.Murphy's No More Pies Club #209

Are you sure about that Juno? Because I know someone who works for Carl Knight in one of his companies called IFreeMedia, which is the company that owns candyrewards.com (according to the whois and contact us page, TOS and privacy policy)
Also (not that this necessarily means anything) the layout is extremely similar.
And the last one (which seems like a dead give away to me) is the 'Search the web' search box which seems to be run by swearch (another company that Carl owns)
Although I could be wrong I'm pretty sure0 -
I know I signed up and I never, ever received anything :mad:0
