    I do that.

However just wondering how, in some cases, the quote is dearer through Quidco.

Because some Insurers will add the amount of the cashback to the premium they quote for business that comes from cashback sites.

In addition some Insurers will load premiums for clients from cashback sites as the customers from these sources are not likely to renew cover with them

Do we know which insurers do this?

Why do you want examples? Do you have a quidco axe to grind you haven't disclosed? (You often post in support of them, and co-incidentally posted in another thread that was critical of quidco, wanting the OP there to change the thread title!):

I think it's important to have examples otherwise it's 'anecdotal' evidence. I had issue with that thread title too, as I do with this thread's title. When we see the words scam or rip off in a thread title on MSE invariably it's not.

And your problem with my reply in another thread is?

As for this thread i was replying to a post saying about insurance companys charging more through cashback sites (yes i said cashback sites not quidco).

Jem16 also asked the same question have you been through there posts also? or you just trying to look smart with me?

And if you read my post again you will see i also used other cash back sites as well as quidco and my post was about getting the same price for insurance not sticking up for quidco so i dont know where you see it.

I changed the title-the original poster.Would you have found it more acceptable if a question mark had been employed

No problem for me. Same price through Quidco as I found using Comparision sites. Really has bought the renewal price down!
