No not really. He works one night a week and I just get on with it. I suppose its because it different. I know he is not coming home tonight where as normally he is home by 3am.

Then you just need to treat yourself to perk yourself up. Order your take away (don't forget dessert - it's essential), eat it while watching a funny film (try online - stagevu.com - if you want something that you haven't already seen), then run yourself a bath and read a good book. Luxuriate in the fact that you've got an evening to yourself.

I know just how you feel and I don't suffer from depression. I always thought I was a bit silly and soft to miss my hubby when he goes away, so glad its not just me!

My hubby works away from home which doesn't really bother me (suppose its because its his job and he has to) but last weekend for instance he went to a festival for 3 days and nights  I was so lost and sad, the nights were much worse. All you can do is keep busy and remember he will be back tomorrow!

    Thinking of you.

I suppose the weekends are our time. He is always working and now being out seems unfair that I miss out.

Just hope he is not hungover because then all I will want to do is argue. I am a proper numpty!

I have depression too and find it hard when i'm the only one in. Generally if i#m up to it i'll read a good book (used to do this haveing a nice soak in the bath but now i only have a shower!). Light some candles so it's nice and relaxing. May be see if there's a film on telly , or rent one out? Failing that i find catchup tv can waste a good few hours (i like to watch rubbish reality tv shows like wife swap etc). Failing that are there any friends or family you could ring for a chat?

I suppose if you're a local driver, you get annoyed with the hold-up.

I only just realised that there was sound on it when someone blew their horn and I jumped!

Biting is excellent. It's like kissing, only there's a winner.

Friends are snuggled with their hubbys and family make me more down (veeeeeerrrrrrrrrry long story!)

I might go and scout out some sleeping tablets or something. Just cannot seem to relax tonight and just want it to be Monday really.

You need to learn to enjoy your own company. I used to hate the thought of staying in by myself, years ago, but now I love to have my own space every now and again.

My boyfriend has gone out with his mates tonight too! He is also stopping at his friend's house so I won't see him until tomorrow.

It feels a bit weird, but generally I'm ok - I've had a soak in the bath, read some tacky magazines and started reading my new book. I'm now gonna sit down and watch Grey's Anatomy with some strawberries and ice-cream!

You just need to keep yourself distracted and find things to do...he'll eb back home before you know it :j
