IWantToBeFree wrote: »Those who have been comping less than a couple of months - you probably have won something, just not been notified yet! Sometimes can take months for them to notify a winner, and then even longer for the prize to turn up, I am still chasing some of mine from nearly 4 months ago!!
I was just coming on to say this, most of my wins I get arrive 2 months+ from the closing date!!! xxxx JoJo xx
:heart2: And only now I see the light...:heart2:

Am I leaving it too late with my entries as I mainly enter comps on the day before closing or sometimes closing day, entries always accepted but this year despite doing 80-120 a day all I've won is a wooden toy!0

I only started comping seriously this year and consider myself to have been very lucky, i don't know how to work out the monetary value but in March i won a holiday to the world cup in south africa, i won £100 to spend on handpicked website, woburn safari park annual family pass, £100 wagamama gift card and a few weeks ago i won £500 to spend at la senza plus various other prizes. I only enter competitions for prizes that i actually want to win, i spent prob a couple of hours a night whilst watching the tv, any win is a bonus and i'm not obsessed by it although due to the lucky run i've had recently i notice things like not having a win in the last 3 weeks but then they all seem to come at once (and normally on a friday! for me!). On the La Senza comp the op had been thanked over 600 times - its things like that keep me going cos of all those that entered it was my name that was picked out - so keep going and one day it will be your name that's picked out x
Also just to add i enter the comps by just starting at the top ie i don't enter the ones that are ending the soonest first.A home is not a home ..... without a dog0 -
I've only just started comping and enter around 30-50 per night depending on how much time I have, I have won 2 prizes so far which is great, I use roboform which takes away having to fill in forms and I find that a lot of comps are for sites that require a log in which also saves time. Its great to win but its also lovely to see fellow mse members winning too2012 wins:
Thank you to all competition posters0 -
i think its all down to luck i enter about 70-100 a day and it takes me about 1 hour 30 mins sometimes, i finish work at 8pm so do it then, i have won a ipod cocking station, dvds cds, books, t-shirts, divsticks and some more small things, but i dont see you can put a average on its because its just random.

I half heartedly started comping in june and won a wii on the robinsons promo on the last day (my one and only entry for it) and since then I have really taken to it.
Im not sure on success rate as i dont keep track of how many - My major prizes have been, the wii, a boots i pulse smooth skin, an i pad, a polaroid two and a flip hd camcorder - all since July and I have had dozens of minor wins, tshirts, books, make up, fragrances. shoes, soothers and baby bottles etc
I think I have most luck on facebook and text comps but its just the luck of the draw0 -
Just looking at the RoboForm site they now have a version for Chrome.0

I've been comping for a couple of months and only have time to do about ten a day - it's reading the terms and conditions that takes so damn long. No wins yet, but here's hoping. I see some people on here are doing a couple of thousand a month - must take so long and where do you find so many of them he he!

Wow I cant believe how many comps people enter a day, that's amazing! I started comping in June and have had 2 wins - one of which (a Mulberry bag!!!) I'm still waiting to be delivered. Dont have the time to enter as much comps as a lot of people and have been getting slightly fed up when I havent won much but reading everybody's comments on here has motivated me to start entering more! This is such a friendly forum, thanks everyone!0
