the comps should really be looked on as a hobby if u look at it as a money earner or a quick buck then i really dont think it will work out, i enter between 50 and 70 a night depending on wether i have the time or not, there has been times when i feel bad for letting it slip for a few days then i have loads to catch up on, i have realised that if u think of it as a chore then u lose heart and that shouldnt be the case, i have done well thru the past few months i have been comping winning lots of small things from posters, makeup, dvds, nights out, mums makeover, our best win was a weekend away with jack daniels, we got gig tickets and hotel stay and spending money hubby and i wouldnt afford such a weekend if it wasnt for the comping, so i say enjoy the comping and take every prize as is, if it costs u nothing then even better, i hope some arent entering comps hoping its gonna change there lifes coz it aint nothing is guaranteed until it is in their hands
waffling done
best win in 2011:eek: 4 nights in Las Vegas
2011 wins £8,752.000 -
i take comping as a hobby to and agree, you cant really have a ratio! i only tend to enter for prizes that suit me so that it gives people who are interested in the prizes a chance, like for example the person i am i enter comps for gig tickets, vouchers and really quite girly things!
Like ive won gig tickets galore, clubland live tickets, ndubz tickets, basshunter tickets, the noisettes tickets, cloths show live tickets, beverley knight tickets.. ive also won vouchers for outfit 50! and topshop 100 :O
So when i get them im over the mooooon! ive been comping on and off since end of 08/start of 09 and for the time ive been doing it i am OVERLY greatful for all the things ive won! little wins likemake up just make my dayhaha!its such a good feeling, since iv started comping this month ive won tickets to see ndubz (im now the number one fan snce pcd split
) and the gigs 2 weeks today VERY EXCITED! ♥♥ But yeah, i jsut think its all about luck, i couldnt put a number or a tiemscale on everything i win cus its so random!

Umm I don't keep tab on a sucess rate as such - but I win about £300 worth every month - I enter about 2000 competitions a month. Not really comping any more as too ill - but hoping to win £1000+ in 2017 in cash prizes - watch this space!0

I just think it's luck of the draw & you gotta be in it to win it. I've been comping for a few years now & have won all sorts of bits & bobs. If I get 4 prizes a month then I'm happy. I've had one big win every year since I began comping. My first was a fly drive to anywhere in America, second was a cooker, third was a years free travel in my area & a signed England top. Without doing the comps I'd never be able to afford a lot of the stuff that I get from here - all the best make-up, hair stuff, only the best for me0

I'm starting my third week of comping today and so far I've entered 2,705 competitions and won nothing
but I find it fun and something I like to do while watching TV, so we will have to wait and see if anything comes of it!

I enter a lot of the competitions - probably about 70 a day. My wins are below. It's all luck though. I still enjoy entering but once I get bored, I'll have to give up as the return is of course not guaranteed.0

I've being comping since about the middle of June, doing about 100 - 200 per week and not won anything. My dad, on the other hand, randomly entered 3 comps between May and July and won all 3, including a laptop. So I think it's all down to luck really. It's a wee hobby for me, it would be lovely to win enough to pay off my credit card balance but I'm not counting on itDebt: Started at £4780, now at £4190
Comp Wins 2014: None yet0 -
Those who have been comping less than a couple of months - you probably have won something, just not been notified yet! Sometimes can take months for them to notify a winner, and then even longer for the prize to turn up, I am still chasing some of mine from nearly 4 months ago!!0

I do about 70 a day - alot more on weekends, I win fairly regularly and really enjoy entering comps. When you first start signing up to all the websites (becoming a member so you just log in to enter) takes ages. If you havent got the free version of roboform yet - grab it quick it will save you loads of time.
I think its about 1 in every 1000 wins for me - that could be a small prize or something bigger (over £100) Either way if you have plenty of spare time, do as many as possible and you should start winning. I spend about two hours a day. Good LuckTotal 2019: £3972 - Best win this year £3000
2018 total £4062/2017 total £2260/ 2016 total £2025/ 2015 total £3809.0 -
I only started comping seriously about 3 weeks ago and so far have won a pair of dining chairs, a years supply of coffee, a skincare set and a quinny buzz stroller. I try to average around 150 competitions a day. With two young children at home there's not much else to do in the evenings:AThanks to all those who post comps:A0
