I changed to Express Delivery, thinking that I would rather spend the extar dosh and have it in my hands guaranteed for Christmas Day, and it went to 8th FEB 2007

Changed back to First Class and it now says 9th FEB 2007

Yeah! Managed to nab one!!!

Took a lot of 'back' and 'click to buy' to get me there but in the end I got one in my basket. Gonna keep the Woolies order for now, my sister is having problems with her PCWorld order. They've told they won't know until net Thursday if she will get one or not so she can buy my Woolies one if it comes before then.

And DrSteve if you are listening... if by some crazy chance we end up with 3 between us... I will sell it to someone for NO profit what so ever. Just out of the goodness of my heart and cos its christmas.

I chose Express Delivery as default and its giving me a date of Thursday 14th....

Bloody hell even the numchuck's and remotes are hard to come by.I couldn't find them anywhere online so had to go to Tesco's where i saw them this morning.

I am so annoyed my original one has not even been dispatched yet and they are selling more!!

Picked the Wii up at midday today from woolies.
Got a message at about 11.30am saying my wii is ready for collection.
It was funny really as the voice of the message was the same voice as the narrator on Little Britain.
Got it home to check it all worked (thats my excuse anyway) this took me just over 2 hours of testing but i did notice i could not use the news or weather channel dont know why as i updated the console, weird.
Anyway its wrapped up now for my boy at xmas.
Good luck to all who are still in pursuit of one hope you get it.

Bad News

On the phone to Amazon now


Guy reckons they oversold in this latest period and me changing the delivery options "temporarily cancelled" the order before "immediately re-ordering"

The temporary cancel effectively put me to the back of the queue and so when it came to re-order there were none left to allocate

The system then puts in an artifical "estimated" delivery date based on when they tink stocks will next be available.


Naturally I am protesting but I may have lost it .... still on the line
