  • it seems to include wii sports which is around £50 so it seems like the price is ok.

You only need to ask yourself why an Apple iTunes download is 99p in the UK and 99c in the US. That's why I got myself a US iTunes account.

Errrm, No its not. iTunes charges 79p in the UK and 99c in the US.

No, it will be £40 max, and may even be a budget title.

  • Gamestation are taking pre-orders - £20 deposit. Cost is £179.99 but according to staff may come down. Was 4th on the list at our local shop so hope to get hold of one:j
  • HMV and Play are crap for pre-orders they ruined theXbox 360 launch by sending out pre-orders to people who pre-ordered a few days before it came out and people who had got there order in 3-4 months in advance got nothing.

Also they are both based in Jersey.

  • Got £5 off from a voucher and 6% from Quidco so HMV it was for me. Anyone know if HMV reduce the price automatically on pre-orders if they decide to reduce the selling price at launch?
  • Have also given HMV a chance, they need to get this right with it being near christmas and all if they screw up on my order I will kick up a stink. When it comes to pre-orders it should be first come, first served.

Although Nintendo usually always have plenty of consoles to go round at launches so pre-ordering might not even have been necessary. Only difference this time is its the first time they've done a simulatanious worldwide launch, and at christmas as well. Plus the fact that the Wii seems to be overtaking PS3 in terms of anticipation so shortages are a real possibility.

Ordered the console and the Red Steel game since its been hyped up so much. Would normally have gone for something first party (Nintendo) like the Mario game or smash bros. but those aren't out until next year even though hmv states that they are out for launch. Would have gone for Zelda but I will probably buy that in the new year once I get bored with Wii Sports and Red Steel.
