Note that the cost of games seems to be arounf £55!
Games are going to retail at between £34-39 RRP, current gen prices rather than Xbox360/PS3 prices which are a tenner higher. The catalogue site must be pricing them up.
Wait a second..the Freeman's prices are ridiculous! It's £279.99 for the console and Zelda. £100 for a game!? Surely this is a mistake on their part - they can't try to rip people off so badly?0 -
Not really a bargain since it's normal price
Also I doubt there'll be any shortage at launch0 -
WOAH! That is an [BLEEP]ing rip off!!! £113 in Japan = £180 over here. No f-ing way Nintendo. I know the UK usually suffers a higher price but 60% hike!? On your [BLEEP]ing expensive !!! bikes, Nintendo. Was gonna pre-order one too, no chance now.0

by now you surely should have known that prices are more expensive in the UK than it is in the likes of America.
and it would be cheaper in Japan, because for some reason they are made there therefore they dont need to send the consoles 50 million miles around the world0 -
The price has gone up  , it was £145 a couple of days ago, at direct4games I think £170 now0

And there are two reasons why:
a. Because we're stupid enough to pay more than everyone else
b. Because our regulators are happy to let them and don't give a stuff.
You only need to ask yourself why an Apple iTunes download is 99p in the UK and 99c in the US. That's why I got myself a US iTunes account. You don't get medals for sitting in the trenches.0 -
Do you think this is gonna be like the xbox saga last year where noone could get there hands on a console and the prices hit the roof?
Also if the price drops between now and launch date surley they cant charge you £180
Thanks

Who else would you blame then, if not the companies that have created this 'standard market practice'?ॐ Signature Removed by Someones Mum. ॐ0 -

There is still no concrete answer on how region free it will be - Nintendo of America says it will be, while Nintendo UK have said it won't (but Nintendo UK said there would be no DS Lite just before it was announced).0
