The Nintendo Wii sold out on Amazon after only six minutes!!! Unbelievable.

I know amazing that I got one!! How do you know it was 6 minutes?

Does anyone who managed to get one have a delivery date of 8 December?

I was getting a bit suspect about not hearing anything from Game after someone said they have sent out information(though not very good) so called them at the store i ordered from and they said yeah there is no problem you will get one:)

Whoever posted about this stuff they have sent out(to reward card holders) is that it now they are all sent out as i said we haven't received anything:(

I just read it on teletext news page. I decided to take a chance and order it on Currys but I'm expecting bad news. Oh well!

Go back into your order and change FROM first class to one of the other options and then go back in and change it BACK TO first class.

Voila! 8th-9th December.

I wouldn't touch the order now :eek:

Seems you can move right to the back of the queue/get a cancellation when you do this

You're not cancelling it, just changing the delivery preferences.

Where did you get your info?

The delivery date changes from 14th December to 8th December! That's better, not worse! Stick with your week-late Wii if you want.

Someone did it earlier with an address change and their's was taken away! I'm not touching mine, better late than never.

It's not the delivery estimate that determines when you'll receive it - it's the delivery method. If you selected first class the you'll get it as near as possible after the 8th and Supersaver will be a few days later. See the Amazon FAQ.

There's plenty of eveidence that Amazon change allocation priorities after amending orders. See MSE, HUKD forums or DVD forums - I can't be doing with finding the posts.

You can change yours if you want
