Nintendo WII pre order only £180

Forgive me for being cynical, but I doubt Nintendo will be too bothered about the strap problem. It's got them on the news again and can only increase the hype further!0

Is everyone else who ordered from Woolworths Online the other day still on status: Awaiting Security Check ?0

Im now on a order to sent to suppliers,
not looking good0 -
I don't agree sad_ken, the hype was as high as possible, I see no reason why this will increase the hype, I can see it deterring very few, but overall don't think it will make much difference.0

I rang Tesco's head office and they informed me that due to a supply/ Quality control issue there will be no further deliveries to any of there stores of Wii's until January !!!!
Think I may well have to try the IOU trick Martin suggested, and take my daughter shopping for one in the new year... There's always ToyRus tomorrow (an extra hundred pounds for some bundled junk, no thanks !!!)
I have spent the last 2 days on the phone ringing everyone from Tesco's to Uncle Tom Cobley et al to no avail....0 -

Yes, I ordered yesterday. A man phoned from Woolworth's 45 minutes ago to confirm my details for security reasons. The status of my order is now:
"Order placed with our suppliers"0 -

I think PC World, Currys and Dixons (DSG Group) have messed people around. I pre-ordered with Currys who guaranteed at the time I would receive a Wii on 08/12. Come the 7th the estimated despatch date changed to 31/01/07. I subsequently cancelled my order with them. I won't be ordering a console with this group in the near future.0 -
I just called up woolies and they said its okay that it's still on awaiting security check and said I should recieve the item next tuesday or to give a call.
Fingers crossed the woman knew what she was talking about0
