Just rang up my local tesco asked to speak to the electrical department, she said yes whats it about!! i said to ask if they have any Wii's in, she said .lol. no they haven't not stocking them, not until the new year!! right-o B/S moo

so i thought f**k it, shot over in my little fortwo from Sunderland, met the nice lady from the phone and purchased 1 Wii.

so

11:30 i called them
12:05 i bought a Wii

they had 3 when i left, i would try it if you want one.

My brother is gutted he didnt get one at Tesco Chorley. If anyone knows of availability in and around Bolton, would love to know

I just rang my local asda they haven't been given any, nor any info on when they will get some, he was quiet surprised they hadn't got any.
Phoned another Tesco fairly local to me a large store about a million square feet, she said no, try a larger store.....lol

Hinckley - Not getting any.
Nuneaton - Out of stock, unable to say if/when more are coming.
Leicester - Out of stock, said to call back Sat morning.
Tamworth - Out of stock, no idea when more are coming.

These are all Asda's by the way.

They have 1 left now.

It's a 60 mile round trip for me. I said that and they still wouldn't reserve it for me.

They didn't expect that delivery until after Christmas so i'm sure others closer will have some in before Christmas.

A Thanks to everyone :beer: that has posted stock info when they know it. It's helped people today get some and if you can keep it up it'll help more too.

I am not impressed with my local supermarkets.Been phoning the game shops and supermarkets and it's Tesco and Asda that give me different stories each day I call.Sometimes they tell me that they are due stock in each day but don't receive them,sometimes they don't know when they will be receiving them and also that they won't be having any in at all.
So, who do you believe??? :rolleyes:

At least, I have my Wii play now, just need a console!! lol

Tesco Extra in Seacroft, Leeds had some in this morning and have sold out.

Just keep trying, your efforts will pay off in the end.

I'm not sure if it's the same in the UK but I read a forum in the US that one store is waiting until the 17th to release loads (50+ per shop) so there is enough in the run up the christmas.

Hopefully UK retailers have something similar planned.

Try Asda Head Office, they couldn't tell me how many but they told me exactly which store and when they we're getting a delivery.
