With the Game pre-orders, if you've successfully pre-ordered one for launch day you should receive either a letter in the post if you have a reward card or a phone call from the store if you don't, inviting you to collect a pre-release information booklet from the store. I think most stores were able to confirm they would have enough consoles to supply the initial pre-orders that a £20 deposit was made on~Diminutive0

He said the controller had a very slow respond time and wasn't overly impressed. I'm going to bide my time and see what the general consensus is.
I was playing on it today. He was spouting rubbish.0 -

Are these still being sent out of have all been sent out already as we haven't received anything from them, either a call or a letter(we have a card) but we paid the £20.Darren0 -
be careful if you order from game as a gift for your other half and use their reward card so as to get the points, my sister in law did this for her fella and he got the confirmation letter. oops.
my hubbie works in the games industry and he really wants one of these, which I would take it to mean its good!0 -

If you used a reward card, it should be on its way. The preorder pack is pretty naff this time, the 360 one had embossed metal tins and money off vouchersPSP had money off vouchers as well
I'm waiting for my store Wii t-shirt

You heard this where exactly?
bit of research and I see they appear to have some problems:
"Dear Customer,
Due to a European shortage of the Nintendo Wii Consoles, we regret to inform you that Play.com will be unable to supply your pre-ordered Nintendo Wii at launch. As an Official distributor of Nintendo products we are guaranteed more stock before Christmas, but Nintendo have informed us, along with all other official Nintendo retailers, that the console will not be freely available until next year.
All pre-orders will be fulfilled on a first come, first served basis and we will fulfil your order as soon as we can.
If you no longer wish to keep your pre-order with Play.com please login to your account and remove the item from your Outstanding Orders.
Kind Regards
PLAY.COM"
However I had one along these lines "We can confirm, despite a European shortage of the Nintendo Wii consoles, that
Play.com should be able to supply your pre-ordered Nintendo Wii at launch."
