The 80% of the child care fees that cn be paid is up to £175 per week.
Your employer might do the child care voucher scheme.
Depending on your income, you might be entitled to the sure start grant. To get this, you must get more than the baby and family elements of tax credits.Sealed pot challenge #232. Gold stars from Sue-UU - :staradmin :staradmin £75.29 banked

I don't tend to mention it to everyone to be honest, their view of me tends to change when I tell them and I immediately get the sympathy vote and an arm put round me lol...
There's no money in his estate unfortunately, just love from his family
And that's worth far more in the long run.
Good luck to you and your child.0 -

Really? You need to do more research.
Mid June she was on JSA and looking to switch to ESA and DLA

And in mid May she was hoping to keep all of her JSA if she got a job working 15.5 hours per week.

I was not hoping to keep all of my JSA, I simply didn't understand how it worked if you found part time work.
You are a nasty piece of work aren't you.
For your information I am working full time at the moment and not claiming anything.
Plus if whenever people ask for advice on this forum you are simply going to belittle them and find fault, why post in the first place? This forum is for people to ask advice, and for people who are knowledgeable to give it, not to have a go.0 -

Agreed. And lets remember that it won't be just the OP looking at the replies given. Others in a similar position may find the information helpful. This is a question about entitlement, NOT an offer to make moral judgements.0 -

Claire, nothing useful to say about your benefit/working question but I feel really bad at some of the replies you've had.........you are surely having a horrendous enough time as it is (and it seems trying to stay positive) without being subjected nasty comments like that.
I have always found these forums to be most helpful..........sorry you haven't been able to.
Good luck for you and your baby.........hope it all works out for you............as much as it can in your situation.((((((xXx))))))Nicotine Free since 01.08.2010 :j:j:j
