Sat 7th/Sun 8th Aug - What small DFW things will you do today???!

  • I was really good yesterday and did 29 of my 50 jobs so only 21 to do today ;) The most annoying part is that DS2 is down from Didcot and helped me set up the home hub, apart from that I did the other 28 things BY MYSELF!! You would think I was the only one that lives in this house, the only one who uses the bathroom, the only one who ever needs clean clothes .......

    Rant over, thanks guys!

It's nothing special, no really exciting things on it, but they should all be achievable within the 1001 days. I know I can't afford to buy a smallholding or to walk the Inca Trail so they're not on this list - but just wait for the next one :D

Hey SW! Thanks for posting the list. I need to make a system of remembering everyone's so I can see how ppl are doing I think its a fab list. Definate themes & doable, oooo there was something I wanted to "borrow" need to go back and see what that was...

erm re the housework, I really do think you need to sit down and have a "chat" with everyone in ur house! (my oh gets the saying "nothing turns a woman on more than a man doing the dishes"! its a win win situation for me! :rotfl:but we did have to have many chats to get there) x

    • do a couple of hours work :(
    • [STRIKE]read papers online[/STRIKE]
    • [STRIKE]make students sandwiches for the week & freez[/STRIKE]e
    • [STRIKE]froze 1/2 the fairy cakes I made yesterday for pack lunches during the week[/STRIKE]
    • make up a pack of jelly in store cupboards no room in the fridge!
    • make apple crummble using up elderly apples ;)
    • get up to 700 posts :D
    • maybe go for a run? went for a walk instead :)
ok that seems more than enough! Happy free-from-the-tyranny-of-work Sunday :D

Was thinking we could maybe start a diary thread with links to our lists (if you wanted to include that - maybe not if it's too personal??? Or maybe just our usernames with no links, ie so we can each look up each others...not that it takes a genious!). Anyway, we could start a diary thread and then post as we go along and log how/when we do something on our list??? Just to keep track without it merging into this thread too...What does everyone reckon??? Stitchy, I reckon you should be the one to kick start it!

Woo hoo to post 537! :p

    5. Watch Sherlock:D
    6. Sort through vouchers for shopping next week
    7. Store cupboard meals
    8. Essay plan for OU course
    9. Registered online for my next OU course (Been approved for grant:D)
    10. Free scratchcard
