Oooh and gymnastics at the Olympics - fancy that too.

Bad news on the sunglasses front for me - don't seem to sell very well (if at all) on ebay. Probs only get about a tenner for them.:(
Oh and welcome PerfectPeaches  Stick with us maddies! We're a friendly bunch!

Hi everyone.
I wrote a massive post earlier and lost the lot so here is the edited version
I have written a list of 50 housework jobs for the weekend so will be very busy. I'll let you know how I get on.
DFW wise it's the usual running appliances overnight on Economy 7, sorting out chickens, watching out for surveys and having at least one NSD.
DNMS - I love the 101 things list so far. I wish I'd thought of a few of those, especially (41) "save £2 for every task I complete" It adds up to £202 for a special treat at the end. I can't wait for September 2012 so I can write my next list!! :rotfl:
Josie won't be on this weekend unless her new laptop cable arrives or she uses another computer so I shall make apologies for her absence.Making magic with fabricLight travels faster than sound. This is why some people appear bright until you hear them speak.0 -
well done on returning the dress Katsu :T Although you love it, you wore the other one to the wedding, so obviously love that one even more

Today so far:
Froze french beans
Made lovely fresh tomato sauce
Cleaned kitchen floor
Checked online banking
Seen to dogs and chooks
Picked tomatoes
To do:
Small grocery shop
Investigate new stainless steel saucepans while out - the plastic handles on mine are breaking down. The lid knobs get really hot  and the actual handles feel wobbly  I am worried that I will be walking across the kitchen one day with a full hot saucepan and the handle break :eek: It seems such a shame as the actual stainless steel part is still perfect, but as they are I think they are too dangerous to take the the CS, so will have to go to recycling
A bit sad, as I have had them for many years and used them every day.
Do washing and dry on line
Hoover where necessary (or I should probably say 'Dyson' :rotfl:)
Cultivate patch of ground in garden and plant out lettuce plants that I have grown.
Water tomatoes and other things in pots
Make a huge chilli for supper tonight using 1lb of mince and loads of veg from garden - I have onions, carrots, courgettes, green peppers, tomatoes, chillis - oops must buy some garlic though!
Make a cake or scones or something for OH and brother who is visiting
Clean worktops and kitchen table
Chop up and freeze rest of green peppers
Pick more green beans (no doubt)
Walk doglets later
Whew, that is quite a list for a lazybones like me, but feel quite energetic today even though I have had a nightmare week at work
Will pop back later to update
Hope everyone has a good day :j0 -

No you're not a vegetarian if you eat any animal or fish, so do not insult genuine veggies by calling yourself one!
Thanks to everyone who posts competitions. You are the stars of the board :T:j:T0 -
Morning ladies!
What are we all doing up so early on a Saturday?!
My dog is my excuse - bouncing on my head at 7am telling me he wants a poo! Oh well, at least he tells me!- If the rain holds off, take the dog for a good walk out somewhere with OH - found a book of walks yesterday and think we can attempt a "Level 1" walk - the easiest!
:rotfl:your dog Rachel!
Going to add the book about walks to my list - thanks for the idea
