Sat 7th/Sun 8th Aug - What small DFW things will you do today???!

But once we have done the bigger stuff, we often feel that we are not making the same amount of progress, when in fact the small steps are helping us form good financial habits and helping us get closer everyday to staying in control and becoming debt free, or staying debt free :money:
Examples could be charging your phone up at work instead of at home to save your electricity, hanging washing out instead of using the tumble dryer or leaving your purse/wallet at home to avoid the risk of spending.
So be proud of those small steps, they really are important

Morning ladies!
What are we all doing up so early on a Saturday?!
My dog is my excuse - bouncing on my head at 7am telling me he wants a poo! Oh well, at least he tells me!
OH is not working this weekend so it'll be company for me - a change from the week when I'm on my own all the time.
The plan for today..- Go food shopping armed with a list and try to stick to budget
- Put petrol in
- Do one load of washing and dry naturally
- If the rain holds off, take the dog for a good walk out somewhere with OH - found a book of walks yesterday and think we can attempt a "Level 1" walk - the easiest!
- Transfer money from savings to pay for clothes shopping splurge in the week
- Stay in tonight and watch a film
- Tidy kitchen
- Checked banks
- Checked quidco
- Do any surveys that come
- Start looking at lesson set 1 - made a good start on the school work finally yesterday so have a teeny bit of enthusiasm
- Email teacher friend to see if he wants to meet up to discuss new lesson approach
- Withdraw some cash - my £15 lasted me all week last week and I still have £1 left!

Morning La E & Katsu (and everyone else)! urgh rainy rainy day here today
(but on the birght side won't have to water the toms tday
) Feeling a lot better than yesterday but still not 100% so will do some work from home today rather than going into the office :j will be good as I have a presentation to prepare for Tuesday evening so will be able to do that quickly without any interuptions, also will be saving petrol
ooooo I did my day zero project 101 list whilst I was bed bound yesterday (but only did 86 as I wanted to leave a bit of space for things that may come up over the next 2.75 years!) I will post later...

I'm not that good. I bought a couple of dresses for our good friend's wedding so I am only returning one (can't return the lovely one I wore
).
Still, thank you for saying that as typing this made me realise I am good as I have only kept the one nice new frock (It was from House of Fraser, so was the most expensive dress I've got, as I'm normally a Charity Shop girl). I do absolutely love the dress I am returning, but we don't go to posh places and it is too much of a party dress for the office, so it needs to go back. No point letting my wardrobe wear it. I am better off saving the money towards my other expenses.
I appreciate the encouragement as it is such a sweet frock and in my favourite colour, I will be sad to hand it over (but less sad to be better off
