Free money and youre turning it down in the hope of getting more, full stop...............

The greed in society really pains me. I hang my head at the human race these days.
make the most of it, we are only here for the weekend.
and we will never, ever return.

Er no...it is worth a go as I have found thru escalating ! :)

If you compare what the OP has been offered to what you got in escalating you will see that the OP has already been offered more than you got! So cannot see any benefit in them taking this further.

If the OP gets more thru ecalating, great for the OP ! As they say 'nothing tried, nothing gained' !!

Good luck to OP and hope they succeed !:)

Why didn't you take the good away when you paid for them. Thats what you normaly do. You haven't stated otherwise.

Its because I didnt have the car and couldn't carry the items.

Hi thanks for the replies its not that I dont like wine as some have stated but its more the fact that I have personal reasons for why I cannot drink alcohol and I believe that it was just the standard goodwill gesture which Yes I was not willing to accept.

I can see it from many of your points of view, however its not about getting free money, I just want replacement goods I dont want any money.

Well you are not entitled to them, only your money back. Take the goodwill money and move on.

Basically I brought some sale items in M&S on weds,
But I still was not happy as the goods which I had brought were in the sale at very cheap prices
I brought them in good faith and they did not store my brought goods in a secure location therefore resulting in the loss.
    .

    Repeat after me

Basically I BOUGHT some sale items in M&S on weds,
But I still was not happy as the goods which I had BOUGHT were in the sale at very cheap prices
I BOUGHT them in good faith and they did not store my BOUGHT goods in a secure location therefore resulting in the loss.

once would be a typo, four times it's ignorance
