Hi
I got my new phone on Wednesday but yesterday the battery only lasted 10 hours, (I hadn't switched off 3g which I now have) but today it only lasted the same lentgh of time and I've hardly used it, is there anything I can do?
I have gone into the settings to find out the percentage of use and android system 94%, cell standby 2%, wifi 2% and phone idle 2%
Any ideas, as if not I am considering sending back
THanks

Mine lasts 3-4 days before it needs a charge if I haven't used it much. It's been figuratively hammered this past week and I've only had to charge it twiceSealed Pot Challenge Member 1216 -

Hi, if you turn off everything (I.e the auto updates/syncing etc - turn it to manual or once a day) - it'll improve the battery life. I've had my desire since April and M-F it lasts 1 1/2 -2 days weekends (more free time) usually a day!
If you work in an office and have access to a plug - I would get a second usb cable.Using my phone to post - apologies in advance for any typos0 -

The battery life improves with each charge from new for a few charging cycles. There's love in this world for everyone. Every rascal and son of a gun.
It's for the many and not the few. Be sure it's out there looking for you.
In every town, in every state. In every house and every gate.
Wth every precious smile you make. And every act of kindness.

Download an app from the Market Place called Juice Defender. It will extend battery life quite a bit. And get rid of the active screensaver if you've still got it installed.0 -

No. Once the green light shows, take it off charge.0 -
I had that running yesterday but thought it was making it worse - do I just have it running all the time, sorry I'm new to all this modern technology!0

Juice Defender has to run all the time to work properly.0
