I just use cookworks scales that cost me £10 and I bought my plastic RM guide thing from ebay.

I have to be accurate as I use stamps for all my items and take them to the main sorting office once a day where they are not rechecked before despatch.

Some carriers offer road services to Europe taking large heavy items for 20-30 pounds which is a fraction of the cost of air freight. You need to select countries carefully for Ebay as not all Europe is covered.

I don't use couriers so I just limit my oversales items to those under £41 and well under the 2kg weight limit.
